About the team:

OKX data team is responsible for the whole data scope of OKG, from techincal selection, architecture design, data ingestion, data storage, ETL, data visualization to business intelligence and data science. We are data engineers, data analysts and data scientists. The team has end-to-end ownership of most of the data at OKx throughout the whole data lifecycle including data ingestion, data ETL, data warehouse and data services. As a data engineer of the team, you will work with the team to leverage data technologies to empower evidence-based decision-making and improve the quality of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

1. Proficient in mainstream cloud computing and big data technologies such asHadoop, Hive, Flink, YARN, Elasticsearch (ES), Kafka, etc.
2. Expert inreal-time bigdata processingusing Flink, with solid experience inFlink SQL development.
3. Build and optimizeoffline and real-time data pipelinesto ensuredata timeliness and accuracy.
4. Independently manage end-to-end business requirements, responsible for the R&D design and construction of theonline (customer-facing) product data pipeline, includingperformance optimization, and empower business growth throughdata products and services.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university inComputer Scienceor a related field.
2. 3+ yearsof experience independently handlingend-to-end business requirements, with strong self-motivation, a high sense of responsibility, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for continuous learning and self-challenge.
3. Proficiency in both English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
4. Familiar withdata warehouse modeling, with successful experience in designing and refactoringlarge-scale data warehouses.
5. Mastery of multiple big data architectures, especiallyAlibaba Cloud DataWorks/MaxCompute,AWS Spark,Databricks, andStarRocks/Doris.
6. In-depth understanding of real-time processing, expert inFlink performance tuning and stress testing, andFlink source code readingexperience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. IELTS score of 7 or abovein all four components.
2. 3+ years of work experiencein English-speaking regions.
3. Experience incross border e-commerce, and familiarity withmulti-country, multi-language architectural designis a plus.
4. Solid foundation inJava, withbackend development experience.
