About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilledQA Automation Engineer with strong Rust / Java programming knowledgeto join our Futures team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and operations teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to test strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our processes.Proficiency in Rust / Java is essential, as you will leverage it to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools that ensure our systems meet the highest standards of performance and stability.This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, drive testing excellence, and help deliver world-class solutions in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Futures team’s entire software development lifecycle, encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, product delivery, and maintenance with a strong emphasis onRust/Java-based systems.
• Work closely with fellow software engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and operations engineers to provide insights and feedback onRust/Java code design, testing strategies, and system implementation.
• Set up and manageRust/Java testing environments, developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases usingRust/Java testing frameworksand tools.
• Perform extensive testing including black-box, white-box, security, automated, and performance testing across multipleRust/Java-based platforms and components.
• Stay current with the latestRust/Java technologies and ecosystem advancements, continuously improving the team’s testing processes, methodologies, and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least3 years of professional experience in QA Testing (Automation), ideally within a leading technology or software engineering firm.
• Strong programming skills in Rust/Javaare required, with a solid understanding of the language’s ecosystem and experience usingRust/Java-based automation frameworksand testing libraries. Exposure to iOS/Android development is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience withmobile-specific testing techniquessuch as performance testing, Monkey stress testing, startup time measurement, frame rendering analysis, and network condition testing. Familiarity withsecondary development toolsor cross-platform frameworks will be considered a plus.
• Adept atdesigning, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plansfor complex systems and distributed architectures.
• Proficient inroot cause analysisto diagnose, debug, and resolve issues affecting software performance and quality.
• Knowledgeable about mainstream AI models with hands-on experience applying them in real-world projects.
• Bilingual English/Mandarinis required to effectively coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
