Senior Accountant (with Controlling Responsibilities)

As ourSenior Accountant, you'll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support the month- and year-end close, and help turn financial data into clear, accurate information for company management. The role combines hands-on accounting with room to take on controlling and analytical work.

As our Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support the month- and year-end close, and help turn financial data into clear, accurate information for company management. The role combines hands-on accounting with room to take on controlling and analytical work.

🤝Key Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end and year-end close and the annual statutory audit.
  Maintain management reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and support smooth financial operations.
• Enter and post incoming invoices, and issue outgoing invoices.
  Account for cash and bank transactions, including reconciliations.
  Prepare payment orders and support the payment cycle.
• Ensure accurate financial records and support reliable financial reporting.
• Help turn financial data into clear, accurate information for company management.
  Work comfortably with international colleagues (US branch).

🔎We are looking for someone with these qualities:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including full close cycles.
• Solid knowledge of Czech double-entry accounting.
• The ability to manage your own agenda independently.
• English at a communicative level — enough to work comfortably with international colleagues (US branch).
• Secondary or university education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
