About us
To be the foundation upon which value moves safely in the new global economy so that innovation can grow without bounds.
Built as the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., Anchorage Digital provides institutional-grade digital asset services including custody, trading, staking, and settlement. The platform secures tens of billions in digital assets for financial institutions, asset managers, and governments across multiple regulated jurisdictions. Operating through Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., Anchorage Digital Singapore, and other entities, the company serves as critical infrastructure for institutions navigating crypto markets. With over 600 team members across offices in San Francisco, New York, Porto, Singapore, and Sioux Falls, Anchorage focuses on bridging traditional finance with blockchain technology through rigorous security and compliance standards.
Products
The core platform offers institutional custody securing hundreds of digital assets using biometric authentication and hardware security modules. Prime Services provides spot and margin trading, derivatives, and advanced API access for institutional clients. The staking infrastructure supports networks like Ethereum, Solana, and Aptos, while Porto serves as an institutional self-custody wallet for DeFi interaction. Atlas Settlement network automates on-chain settlements to reduce counterparty risk. Anchorage also enables institutions to launch white-label, federally regulated stablecoins and provides traditional USD banking services alongside crypto offerings.
Funding
Anchorage Digital has raised $587 million total, reaching a $4.2 billion valuation following a $100 million strategic investment from Tether in February 2026. The company previously raised $350 million in a Series D round in December 2021 at a $3 billion valuation, led by KKR. Major investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, Visa, GIC, and BlackRock. Rather than raising primary capital in the latest round, Anchorage used the funding for its first employee tender offer, providing liquidity to long-tenured team members.
Recent news
In February 2026, stablecoin issuer Tether made a $100 million strategic investment in Anchorage Digital and selected Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. as the U.S. issuer for USA₮, its new federally regulated, dollar-backed stablecoin.
