About us
To connect developers with Web3 infrastructure, reducing the time to market, costs, and risks associated with creating and scaling decentralized applications.
Chainstack provides Web3 infrastructure that powers blockchain applications across fintech, DeFi, wallets, custodians, and analytics. Teams cut time-to-market, cost, and risk with one platform for nodes in the cloud, offered through preferred service providers, or self-hosted. The company serves over 70 blockchain networks including Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Arbitrum, processing more than 10 billion API calls daily. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Singapore, Chainstack operates as a fully remote team of 50-100 employees across multiple countries. Standardized node management puts reliability on autopilot and keeps performance predictable, giving operators control and transparency while developers get a consistent way to build and scale.
Products
The core offering is geo-balanced RPC infrastructure across 70+ blockchain networks. Global Node provides elastic, geo-balanced RPC that automatically routes requests for optimal performance. Unlimited Node offers flat-fee, unmetered API access scaled by requests per second. For enterprises, Managed Dedicated Nodes provide isolated compute environments with flexible deployment options. Chainstack also offers Archive Data for fast historical blockchain lookups, gRPC Data Streaming for Solana via Yellowstone Geyser, and Solana Trader Nodes for high-frequency trading. Recently added is an MCP server that allows AI agents to deploy, manage, and interact with blockchain nodes.
Funding
Chainstack raised $6 million in a Series A round in May 2024, led by SBI Ven Capital with participation from Sygnum, Azimut Group, Unicorn Factory Ventures, and Ventech Ventures. Earlier funding includes a $1.3 million seed round in January 2019. Total funding raised is estimated at $12.8 million, with the company reaching a $63.8 million valuation as of May 2024. The company reported $5 million in annual recurring revenue as of September 2025 and has been generating revenue since inception.
Recent news
In May 2026, Chainstack launched "Chainstack Self-Hosted," a new product allowing enterprises to deploy and manage production-grade blockchain nodes on their own infrastructure. The launch was accompanied by strategic partnerships with hosting providers like Velia.net and BreezeHost to offer pre-installed, bare-metal server solutions.
Technology
Backend services are primarily built with Go, leveraging distributed systems and event-driven architectures. Message brokers include NATS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication. Infrastructure runs on Kubernetes with containerized environments, heavily using Google Cloud Platform. Infrastructure-as-code relies on Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for automation. CI/CD systems handle developer productivity workflows. Monitoring and observability use Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack. Data storage involves MySQL and Redis for caching. The platform exposes blockchain data through JSON-RPC and gRPC APIs across 70+ networks.
