Coins.ph raised $40 million across seven funding rounds. The most recent was a $30 million Series C in May 2022, led by Ribbit Capital with participation from Joffre Capital. Earlier investors included Naspers Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Quona Capital, Pantera Capital, and Digital Currency Group. Wei Zhou and Joffre Capital acquired the company in April 2022 at a valuation between $190-200 million. The platform reported monthly spot trading volume exceeding $500 million in November 2025, nearly four times the previous year's volume.
Recent news
In April 2026, Coins.ph pioneered stablecoin payment utility in the Philippines by integrating QRPh, the national QR code standard. This first-of-its-kind feature allows users to settle everyday transactions using USDT, USDC, or Philippine Pesos in a unified checkout flow. In May 2026, this functionality was expanded to support Bitcoin and Ethereum payments.
