About us

To power financial possibility for organizations of all sizes.

Built to solve the security vulnerabilities that plagued early digital asset infrastructure, Fireblocks provides enterprise-grade custody, payments, and blockchain operations for financial institutions and Web3 companies. The platform secures over $10 trillion in digital asset transactions across 100+ blockchains for more than 2,200 organizations, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, and Revolut. Using Multi-Party Computation (MPC) cryptography and hardware security modules, Fireblocks eliminates the single points of failure that make traditional private key storage vulnerable to theft. The company operates globally with a mission to enable every business to securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies.

Products

The core platform centers on MPC-based digital asset custody and treasury management, with vault configurations for hot, warm, and cold storage. Fireblocks offers Wallet-as-a-Service and Embedded Wallets for businesses building consumer crypto applications, plus a tokenization engine for creating and managing smart contracts. The Fireblocks Network provides global connectivity for instant settlement between institutions. Recent additions include an Agentic Payments Suite for AI agent-initiated stablecoin payments and Flow for stablecoin payment acceptance. The platform supports custody, trading, DeFi access, NFTs, and yield generation across 100+ blockchain networks.

Funding

Fireblocks has raised approximately $1.04 billion across multiple rounds, reaching an $8 billion valuation in January 2022 with a $550 million Series E co-led by D1 Capital Partners and Spark Capital. Earlier rounds included a $310 million Series D in July 2021 co-led by Sequoia Capital and Stripes, a $133 million Series C led by Coatue and Ribbit with strategic investment from BNY Mellon, and a $30 million Series B led by Paradigm. The company achieved over $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue in 2022.

Recent news

In May 2026, Fireblocks announced the launch of its Agentic Payments Suite, delivering infrastructure for AI agent-initiated stablecoin payments, and joined the x402 Foundation to provide security and spend governance extensions for the protocol.

Technology

The platform is built on Multi-Party Computation (MPC-CMP) algorithms with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Intel SGX for secure key management. Frontend applications use React and TypeScript, while the backend runs on a microservices architecture with Node.js, Go, Python, and Java. Infrastructure is deployed on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for 24/7 scalability. The platform integrates with blockchain protocols through APIs and SDKs available in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, Java, Go, and C#. MySQL handles data management, with Redis for caching blockchain data.

Benefits

The company offers competitive compensation with equity and performance bonuses, plus fully covered premium medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees get generous flexible PTO, paid parental leave, and family-forming reimbursement. There's a home office stipend for remote work, gym memberships, and mental health benefits. Fireblocks operates on a hybrid 'work where you're best' model with pet-friendly offices stocked with free snacks and drinks. Professional development includes customized career tracks, comprehensive onboarding, and technical training. The culture emphasizes cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Product, R&D, and Security teams.
