About us

To empower tokenized economies by providing deep liquidity and excellent pricing.

Founded in 2017, Keyrock has grown into a global digital asset investment firm with over 250 team members across 42 nationalities. The company operates as a market maker and liquidity provider across more than 80 trading venues, serving institutions, foundations, and token projects with algorithmic market making, OTC trading, options desks, and high-frequency trading services. Beyond traditional market making, Keyrock runs an accelerator program for Web3 startups and injects liquidity into DeFi, RWA, and NFT protocols. The team is predominantly remote with hubs in London, Brussels, and Singapore, connecting through regular online and offline events to maintain a tight-knit culture despite the global distribution.

Products

Market making forms the core of Keyrock's business, connecting to over 85 exchanges to provide liquidity across centralized and decentralized venues. The company offers OTC trading for large-volume transactions, options desk services, and treasury management for institutional clients. Following the Turing Capital acquisition, Keyrock launched Asset & Wealth Management with quantitative strategies like Absolute Alpha and Smart Beta funds. Additional services include validator operations for blockchain networks, onchain liquidity solutions for DeFi protocols, and ecosystem development support through strategic partnerships and technical guidance.

Funding

Keyrock reached unicorn status with a $1.1 billion valuation in its Series C round in March 2026, led by SC Ventures with participation from Ripple. The company previously raised $72 million in Series B funding in November 2022 from Ripple, SIX Fintech Ventures, and Middlegame Ventures. Earlier rounds included Series A funding from SIX, Middlegame, and Volta Ventures in 2021, and seed financing from Volta Ventures in 2018. Total funding has reached approximately $180 million. Keyrock has also pursued strategic acquisitions, purchasing Turing Capital for $27.8 million in 2025 to expand into wealth management and acquiring Fija Finance in early 2026.

Recent news

In April 2026, Keyrock issued its first tokenized corporate bond on the Ethereum blockchain, distributed via Sygnum and Obligate, to bolster its working capital and operations.

Technology

Keyrock pioneers the use of Rust for algorithmic trading, building high-performance backends alongside C++, Python, Node.js, and Go. Cloud infrastructure runs on AWS and GCP with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration. Data monitoring uses Datadog, Grafana, and AWS Kinesis, supported by PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB for storage. Frontend development incorporates GraphQL, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS. Development teams follow Agile methodologies with GitLab CI for deployments and DORA metrics to track delivery performance across trading and platform services.

Benefits

Teams work predominantly remote with flexible hours and the option to engage as either employees or freelancers. The compensation package includes competitive salary, stock options from year one, health insurance, meal vouchers, and 25 days paid vacation. Remote workers receive IT allowances to set up their workspace, plus a monthly wellbeing allowance. The culture emphasizes autonomy in time management and an entrepreneurial environment focused on excellence and merit-based advancement. Regular team-building activities maintain connections across the global workforce, with background checks required for all new hires.
