About us
Nansen's mission is to surface the signal in blockchain data and create winners in the future of finance.
Built as a blockchain analytics platform, Nansen has evolved into an agentic trading terminal where users discover signals and execute trades without switching apps. The platform combines real-time onchain data with over 500 million labeled wallet addresses to help investors track smart money movements and act on opportunities. Users can research through AI-powered conversations, monitor portfolios across 18+ chains, and execute spot trades and Hyperliquid perpetuals directly within the dashboard. Beyond individual traders, Nansen serves venture capital firms, exchanges, and blockchain protocols with institutional-grade API access and structured data feeds.
Products
The core product is an integrated trading terminal that combines analytics with execution. Users can chat with the Nansen Agent to research opportunities, then trade directly through spot markets and Hyperliquid perpetuals. Key features include Smart Money alerts, Token God Mode for deep token analysis, Wallet Profiler for tracking specific addresses, and portfolio monitoring with real-time PnL across chains. The Nansen API provides institutional access to structured onchain data, while the platform supports trading through Jupiter, OKX, and LI.FI aggregators with a non-custodial wallet powered by Privy.
Funding
Nansen has raised $88.2 million across three rounds. The company secured $1.2 million in seed funding in October 2020 with participation from Mechanism Capital. A $12 million Series A followed in June 2021, led by Andreessen Horowitz with Skyfall Ventures and Coinbase Ventures participating. The largest round came in December 2021 — a $75 million Series B led by Accel, with backing from GIC, Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, and SCB 10X, bringing the valuation to $750 million.
Recent news
In June 2026, Nansen significantly expanded its trading capabilities by integrating native Hyperliquid perpetuals trading directly into its analytics dashboard, allowing users to execute leveraged positions without switching applications. This follows the earlier 2026 rollout of AI-driven trading tools on Solana and Base, which combined research and execution into a single, chat-based interface. Additionally, in April 2026, Nansen modernized its data access by moving to a pay-per-call model using the x402 protocol, making its extensive on-chain intelligence more accessible to developers and autonomous agents.
Technology
Built on Google Cloud Platform with BigQuery for analytics and data warehousing. Container orchestration runs on GKE and Cloud Run for auto-scaling, with workflow management through Cloud Composer and Pub/Sub. The platform integrates large language models like Claude Opus 3.5 and Sonnet for AI capabilities, plus TensorFlow for predictive modeling. Security infrastructure includes CI/CD pipeline protection, secrets management, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection. Development uses Kubernetes with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.

Benefits include unlimited vacation time, meaningful equity compensation, and a home office budget. The company covers flights and accommodations for annual retreats at hubs in Singapore, Bangkok, London, and Oslo.
