About us
To become the number one access point for leaders of the onchain era.
A unified trading terminal for perpetual futures DEXs, built specifically for DeFi power users running complex cross-exchange strategies. The platform lets traders coordinate multi-leg positions across multiple DEXs like Hyperliquid and Lighter, monitor everything in one place, and automate the opening and closing of profitable strategies while reducing misaligned-leg risk. Originally known as Omni Network before rebranding in September 2025, Nomina processed over $70M in trading volume and aims to provide institutional-grade tools for onchain markets — think Bloomberg Terminal for DeFi. The team is based in New York but operates remotely with a crypto-native culture focused on building self-sovereign financial infrastructure.
Products
The core product is a unified trading terminal that aggregates liquidity and funding rate data across perpetual DEXs. Traders can execute delta-neutral funding rate arbitrage, synchronize multi-leg positions, and automate complex strategies through a single interface. Features include real-time trade monitoring, one-click closing of multi-exchange strategies, and cross-exchange automation tools. The platform also offers SDKs for developers and user-facing dapps for bridging and staking. Revenue comes from trading fees, with the NOM token enabling revenue sharing for stakers.
Funding
Raised $18M from top-tier investors including Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, The Spartan Group, Hashed, Jump Capital, and DeFiance Capital. Angel investors include Stani Kulechov (founder of Aave) and Sandeep Nailwal (co-founder of Polygon). The funding round happened in February 2022 when the company was still operating as Omni Network, before pivoting to focus exclusively on the trading terminal.
Recent news
On February 17, 2026, Nomina completed a major strategic shift by sunsetting the Omni Core blockchain and migrating all associated assets, including the NOM token, to the Ethereum network as ERC-20 tokens to prioritize development of its unified trading terminal. Following this migration, the platform introduced a revenue-sharing model in Q1 2026, enabling NOM token stakers to earn a portion of the trading fees generated by the terminal.
Technology
Frontend built with TypeScript and React for pixel-perfect web3 applications and dapps. Heavy use of web3 libraries like ethers.js and viem for blockchain interactions and cross-chain functionality. The team builds performant SDKs and APIs for developers, component libraries, and comprehensive developer documentation. Architecture focuses on modular design to support complex trading strategies across multiple DEXs, with emphasis on performance and scalability for institutional-grade trading tools.
Benefits
Competitive compensation with token packages for all employees, unlimited PTO, and regular team off-sites around the world. The culture emphasizes high trust and autonomy, with employees expected to take ownership and drive results without micromanagement. Remote-friendly with required daily overlap during 9am-12pm EST. The environment is mission-driven, focused on building self-sovereign financial infrastructure, with opportunities for personal growth alongside a high-caliber team at the frontier of crypto.
