Enabling an open, trusted, and advanced digital economy / progressing and connecting financial markets.
R3 builds the infrastructure to move the next trillion dollars of assets on-chain, bridging traditional finance and DeFi. Founded in 2014, the company specializes in distributed ledger technology for regulated markets, with its flagship Corda platform enabling secure, permissioned collaboration across financial institutions. R3 has tokenized over $10 billion in on-chain assets and processes millions of transactions daily. The team of 80+ professionals works on institutional-grade RWA yield vaults that are fully composable and integrated into Solana DeFi, positioning R3 as a leader in compliant real-world asset tokenization.
Products
Corda is R3's core distributed ledger platform, available in both open-source and enterprise editions. The enterprise version adds high-availability, hardware security module support, and advanced database connectivity for production environments. In 2023, R3 launched Corda 5 with enhanced scalability and performance. The R3 Solana Toolkit bridges traditional finance with DeFi by integrating real-world assets into the Solana blockchain. R3 also provides comprehensive professional services including advisory, design, development, and deployment support.

R3 raised over $107 million in its Series A round in May 2017, led by a consortium of 44 global financial institutions including Bank of America, HSBC, SBI Group, Intel, and Temasek.
