About us

Bring enterprise-grade consistency, reliability, and performance to Solana so financial markets can execute onchain with the same guarantees as traditional systems.

Raiku builds infrastructure to make blockchain transactions as reliable as traditional financial systems. The company re-engineers Solana execution from first principles, delivering deterministic execution and guaranteed block inclusion through high-performance compute placed close to where transactions happen. Its platform solves foundational problems that cause transactions to miss, trades to revert, and systems to collapse under pressure. With over 50 industry leaders already using their infrastructure, Raiku enables developers to build scalable applications while giving institutions the reliability they demand. The distributed team spans North America and Europe, with headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia.

Products

The core product is a specialized Solana validator client that powers a marketplace for blockspace. Raiku offers two transaction mechanisms: Ahead-of-Time (AOT) transactions that let users reserve compute units for future slots, and Just-in-Time (JIT) transactions for immediate, high-priority execution. The platform includes a Coordination Engine for slot auctions and scheduling, plus a Slot Marketplace for reserving blockspace. Raiku also offers rkuSOL, a liquid staking token that provides staking rewards plus fees from AOT and JIT transactions processed by their validators.

Funding

Raiku has raised $13.5 million across two rounds. The company completed a $2.25 million pre-seed co-led by Figment Capital and Big Brain Holdings, with support from Reciprocal Ventures and Anagram. This was followed by an $11.25 million seed round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Jump Crypto, Lightspeed Faction, Initial Ventures, and HashKey Capital. Angel investors include Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, Austin Federa, and Julien Bouteloup.

Recent news

In September 2025, Raiku officially announced its successful completion of $13.5 million in total funding, comprised of a $2.25 million pre-seed round and an $11.25 million seed round, to advance its mission of bringing institutional-grade certainty to Solana infrastructure.

Technology

Built primarily in Rust for core platform and validator clients connecting Solana's L1 with specialized extensions. Infrastructure runs on Kubernetes, Terraform, and Terragrunt for automation and management. The team uses Go and TypeScript for operational scripting and interfaces, PostgreSQL for storage, and HashiCorp Vault for security. Monitoring involves Prometheus, PromQL, and Thanos, while deployment uses Helm and FluxCD. The platform integrates with Solana's Ackermann SDK and utilizes an advanced scheduling engine for coordination.

Benefits

The company operates remote-first with a distributed team across time zones. Compensation is competitive and determined through market research, typically including both salary and token allocations. Employees can choose to receive payment in digital currency. Raiku hosts regular team retreats to build connections across the globally distributed workforce. The culture emphasizes high ownership, technical excellence, and long-term vision, with expectations around leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
