About us

To enable the next generation of distributed, decentralized, and accessible Ethereum staking infrastructure.

SSV Network provides decentralized infrastructure for Ethereum staking through Distributed Validator Technology (DVT). By splitting validator keys across multiple non-trusting nodes, the protocol eliminates single points of failure and enhances fault tolerance for solo stakers, staking pools, and institutional providers. With over $12 billion in total value locked and more than 131,000 validators, SSV Network has become a significant player in Ethereum's staking ecosystem. The flagship SSV 2.0 upgrade introduces a fully modular staking layer with built-in MEV support, advanced slashing protection, and performance at scale. SSV Labs, the core development team, operates as a globally distributed organization focused on making Ethereum staking more secure, scalable, and trustless.

Products

The core offering is SSV Network's distributed validator infrastructure, which uses Multi-Party Computation and threshold signatures to split validator keys across independent operators. Key components include the SSV Node for fault-tolerant staking, the SSV SDK (a TypeScript library for developers), and a staking dApp with cSSV tokens. SSV 2.0 introduces "Based Applications" (bApps) that allow validators to extend their security to off-chain services. The protocol supports APIs, full Ethereum testnets, and serves as the foundation for next-generation staking applications.

Funding

SSV Network raised $10 million in a seed round in February 2022, achieving a $300 million valuation. Digital Currency Group and Coinbase Ventures led the round, with participation from OKX Ventures, Amber Group, Gate.io, and Lukka. By June 2025, the company reported $2.1 million in annual recurring revenue with a team of 19 employees. The funding accelerated development of their decentralized staking infrastructure for Ethereum 2.0.

Recent news

In April and May 2026, the SSV Network launched its mainnet staking and the 'cSSV Genesis Boost' campaign to incentivize early participants. This was followed by the 'cSSV Syndicate Boost' in June 2026 to further encourage validator infrastructure engagement. Additionally, on May 6, 2026, the DAO Multi-Sig Committee invoked emergency powers to address a critical 'Stale EB Snapshot Bug' identified following the v2.0.0 upgrade, successfully deploying a fix to secure the network state without evidence of exploitation.

Technology

Built on a cloud-native foundation with Kubernetes orchestrating clusters across multiple clouds. GitOps workflows use ArgoCD, while Infrastructure as Code relies on Terraform and Crossplane. The Grafana LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir) handles observability. Development primarily uses Go and Python, with TypeScript for the SDK and Solidity for smart contracts. The team actively builds AI-powered developer tooling, including autonomous coding agents, LLM-assisted CI/CD, and automated incident triage. Linux, containerization, service mesh, and cross-cloud networking round out the infrastructure stack.

Benefits

SSV Labs operates as a fully remote, globally distributed team with flexible time management and strong work-life balance for self-directed employees. The culture emphasizes transparency, open communication, and continuous learning from industry leaders. Employees work on high-impact projects that influence the blockchain industry, with real ownership and room to shape processes as the company grows. The environment encourages bold thinking, responsibility, and learning from challenging problems. Competitive salaries and professional growth opportunities are standard, along with a blameless incident-handling culture that promotes improvement over blame.
