About us
We empower institutions to trade and manage digital assets at scale.
Founded in 2018, Talos provides institutional-grade trading technology that powers the full lifecycle of digital asset trading. The platform connects institutions—hedge funds, asset managers, prime brokers, and neobanks—to over 100 liquidity providers including exchanges, OTC desks, and DeFi protocols through a single interface. Rather than building for retail, Talos focuses on the complex connectivity and workflow needs of sophisticated financial institutions. The company has processed over $850 billion in cumulative trading volume across 38 countries and doubled its revenue and client base annually for the past two years. With hubs in New York, London, Singapore, and Cyprus, Talos operates as a globally distributed team in a hybrid-friendly environment.
Products
Talos offers a comprehensive Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) combined with Portfolio Management System (PMS) functionality. The platform features smart order routing, execution algorithms, multi-dealer RFQ capabilities, and real-time P&L tracking. Beyond execution, it provides portfolio construction tools, treasury and settlement solutions, and transaction cost analysis. Following the 2025 acquisition of Coin Metrics, integrated market data and blockchain analytics are built directly into client workflows. The company also offers white-label brokerage solutions for firms wanting to provide crypto trading to their end customers.
Funding
Talos has raised $190 million total across multiple rounds. The company secured a $40 million Series A in 2021 led by Andreessen Horowitz, with PayPal Ventures and Fidelity participating. A $105 million Series B in May 2022 led by General Atlantic valued the company at $1.25 billion, achieving unicorn status. Most recently, Talos closed a $45 million Series B extension in January 2026, bringing total Series B funding to $150 million and pushing valuation to approximately $1.5 billion. New investors include Robinhood Markets and Sony Innovation Fund, joining returning backers like a16z crypto, BNY Mellon, and Fidelity.
