About us

To seamlessly connect fiat, crypto, and stablecoins in one platform, enabling a better way to move and transfer money and value globally.

Founded in 2017, Zero Hash provides B2B digital asset infrastructure that lets banks, brokerages, fintechs, and payment companies integrate crypto trading, stablecoin payments, and tokenized assets into their platforms without building blockchain infrastructure themselves. The company operates as a pure embedded-finance provider, handling regulatory compliance, custody, liquidity, and settlement while partners maintain their own branding and customer relationships. Zero Hash supports three core pillars: Trade (crypto trading and staking), Transact (24/7 stablecoin payments and settlement), and Tokenize (issuing and managing tokenized assets with built-in compliance). The platform serves millions of end users across 200 jurisdictions and has processed over $65 billion in volume. With multi-state money transmitter licenses across 51 U.S. jurisdictions, Zero Hash positions itself as the regulated gateway for institutions entering digital assets.

Products

Zero Hash's platform centers on three main products: Trade enables embedded crypto trading and staking with built-in liquidity and custody; Transact provides real-time stablecoin payments, cross-border payouts, and instant settlement; and Tokenize allows institutions to create and manage compliant digital securities and tokenized financial assets across multiple blockchains. Additional services include qualified custody, crypto-backed rewards and round-up programs, lending infrastructure, on/off-ramps, and seamless on-chain account linking. The platform abstracts away technical complexity through APIs and SDKs, letting clients offer digital asset capabilities without managing blockchain infrastructure directly.

Funding

Zero Hash has raised over $280 million in total funding since 2017. The most recent round was a $104 million Series D-2 in September 2025, led by Interactive Brokers, which valued the company at over $1 billion. Participants included Morgan Stanley, Apollo-managed funds, SoFi, Jump Crypto, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, and existing investors PEAK6, tastytrade, and Nyca Partners. Earlier, the company raised $105 million in a Series D round in December 2021 from investors including Bain Capital Crypto, Point72 Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. As of 2026, Zero Hash was reportedly in discussions to raise approximately $250 million at a valuation exceeding $1.5 billion.

Recent news

In May 2026, Zero Hash became the first firm to secure both a MiCAR license and full Electronic Money Institution (EMI) status in the European Economic Area, enabling it to legally support European stablecoin-powered financial operations. Additionally, in March 2026, the company formally applied for a national trust bank charter with the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), marking its push to further integrate with mainstream regulated finance.

Technology

Zero Hash uses a modern, event-driven microservices architecture built primarily with Golang. The platform leverages gRPC and Protocol Buffers for service communication, with NATS JetStream and Kafka handling messaging and data streaming. SQL databases manage high-throughput financial ledgers with ACID compliance. The stack includes Python and JavaScript for broader integration tasks, RESTful APIs over HTTP for client integration, and the FIX protocol for trading environment communication. Blockchain connectivity, custody systems, and compliance controls are built into the infrastructure to support regulated crypto and stablecoin workflows.

Benefits

Zero Hash offers 33 days of flexible PTO and operates as a remote-first company with a work-from-home stipend and WeWork All Access membership. Health coverage is comprehensive, with the company covering roughly 100% of employee premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance plus contributions toward family coverage. Additional benefits include equity ownership, a 401(k) plan, paid maternity and paternity leave after 6 months, and a learning and development stipend after 6 months. The company emphasizes a culture built around independence, collaboration, and transparency, with a pet-friendly environment and mental health programs.
