As 2022 ends, it's time to look at some statistics on hiring in the Crypto / Web3 industry. Crypto Careers was founded four years ago, and since then, we have seen more than 500000 people visit our portals and 80000 apply for a crypto job on all our sites. So, what happened this year?

2022 has been busy for our job site, with over 60,000 applications and more than 250,000 visitors across our network of sites (Crypto Careers, Web3 Jobs, RemoteInCrypto). These visitors came from all over the world, with the majority coming from the US, UK, Germany, France, and India.

Although we officially entered a bear market in Q3 2022, many experts believe that the long-term prospects for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are very positive. There is plenty of exciting new projects and startups in the space. Additionally, the skills and knowledge gained through a career in Web3 and crypto are highly sought after and can lead to a wide range of career opportunities in various industries.

We saw more than 9,000 jobs posted from over 450 companies. These jobs ranged from entry-level to executive roles and spanned various sectors and industries within the crypto space. As always, centralized exchanges had many job openings this year, similar to 2021.

Our job site also saw many job seekers set up job alerts, with more than 6,300 people creating job alerts to stay informed about new web3 and crypto job opportunities as they become available.

In addition to job postings, we also sent out 37 newsletters to our subscribers, keeping them up to date on the latest job openings and career advice. These newsletters have been opened by more than 30000 times. In parallel, we have sent more than 400000 job newsletters to our subscribers.
