Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of this website. You make a binding declaration that you have read and understand Crypto Careers’ Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy and you agreeing to the terms and conditions of these Terms of Service (collectively, the “Agreement”), each time you visit this website. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.

The use of "us", "we", or "our" in this Agreement refers to Crypto Careers.

“Crypto Careers’ Website”, or “this website” mean the company’s website, accessible on the world wide web under https://www.crypto-careers.com/.

Crypto Careers’ Website is made available for use only by

  • individuals searching for employment openings (“Job Seekers”);

  • individuals and/or organizations seeking to make available information regarding employment openings on Crypto Careers’ Website (“Employers”)

collectively, the “User(s)”.

“User Account” means the account or company profile created by Crypto Careers’ Users on this website.

You acknowledge and agree that your license to use Crypto Careers’ Website is automatically revoked upon your attempt to use Crypto Careers’ Website for any other purpose. If you are accessing or using Crypto Careers’ Website in your capacity as an employee or other representative of an Employer, you are agreeing to this Agreement on behalf of yourself and such Employer, and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such Employer to this Agreement.

You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age to use this Crypto Careers’ Website. By using this website and by agreeing to these Terms of Service, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all new releases, updates and other new services which extend or improve the current version of our software are subject to these Terms of Service. The Crypto Careers software will always be provided in the latest version approved by Crypto Careers and is always subject to availability.

Crypto Careers Services

Crypto Careers is an internet-based career service which provides users with software to connect Employers and Job Seekers in the blockchain and cryptocurrencies industry. In addition, Crypto Careers provides software-based tools for publishing content (e.g. resume, Job Listings).

Crypto Careers may make available certain job listings and other job-related contents, including links to third-party websites (such listings and other contents, (“Job Listings”)), through Crypto Careers’ Website. Crypto Careers cannot confirm the accuracy or completeness of any Job Listing or other information submitted by any Employer, including the identity of such Employer or other user. Crypto Careers assumes no responsibility, and disclaims all liability, for the content, accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, or availability of any Job Listing. You agree that Crypto Careers may also provide search options to narrow down Job Listing search results by job type (i.e. full-time, part-time, etc.), job function, career level and industry and such  categories are created independently and entirely by Crypto Careers, and are not a direct reflection of the actual Job Listing or the category the Employer may have assigned to the Job Listing on their website.

Job Seekers

Job Seekers have the option of creating a User Account to apply to jobs listed on Crypto Careers’ Website or allow Employers to contact them directly.

Job Seekers may choose to include a resume to their User Account. Any resume or information provided on Crypto Careers’ Website is subject to these Terms of Service, Crypto Careers’ Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, however, please note that by creating a User Account, you authorise Crypto Careers to make your User Account and provided resume available to any Employer we believe may have an interest in your resume. You may retract this consent at any time; please note that if you choose to retract this consent your profile will no longer be visible to Employers.

Crypto Careers does not guarantee the identity of an Employer or any individuals working for any Employers, and cautions Job Seekers when applying to jobs. Crypto Careers does not guarantee the validity of a Job Listing or job offer and cautions Job Seekers to verify such validity before taking an adverse action regarding their current employment situations. Job Seekers are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any Employer, Job Listing or job offer.

In addition, Job Seekers may subscribe to job alerts on Crypto Careers’ Website. By subscribing for job alerts you authorise Crypto Careers to contact you with Job Listings, which might be of interest to you, based on your search query on Crypto Careers.

Crypto Careers may also contact you with Crypto Careers’ newsletter or blog posts published on this website. Our newsletters and blog posts may contain information about the blockchain industry hiring trends or certain types of career-related information. All information contained in any newsletter or blog post is for informational purposes only, and is not to be considered as professional career counseling or staffing services.

In addition, some Job Listings available on Crypto Careers’ Website may contain salary benchmarks. Such salary information is either provided by the Employer that created the Job Listing or has been published on publicly available third party websites.

Salary benchmarks may be provided in ranges, with a possible minimum and maximum salary. We explicitly point out that any salary benchmark quoted by Crypto Careers does not represent a statement on the actual salary for any job position offered by any Employer. The specific salary for any job position depends on factors such as salary negotiation skills, employee performance and professional experience. Crypto Careers disclaim any and all responsibility or liability for any discrepancies between quoted salary benchmarks and actual salary offered by any Employer.

Crypto Careers' services do not include staffing in any form. Crypto Careers is not involved in direct job or candidate placement.

Employers

Employers can create a company profile and provide Job Listings on Crypto Careers’ Website. Employers agree that any information provided on Crypto Career’s Website is subject to these Terms of Service, Crypto Careers’ Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Crypto Careers may request information about your business, such as company name, size, and business type, business registration information, or a utility bill, name and email address of the company representative to verify your identity.

Employers can reach Job Seekers by making available information about their company and providing Job Listings on Crypto Careers’ Website. Crypto Careers may send job alerts with your Job Listings to Job Seeker with matching profiles. In addition, Crypto Careers may provide Employers with access to our Job Seeker database in order to accelerate the Employer’s recruiting process.

Employers are responsible for the content of their company profile and provided Job Listings. Crypto Careers disclaims all liability for such content, including as to whether such content is legal. You agree that Crypto Careers may reject or remove any Job Listing, any part of any company profile for any or no reason. You shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Crypto Careers, its agents, affiliates, and licensors from any third-party claim or liability (including without limitation reasonable legal fees) arising out of any company profile created by you, or any Job Listing created by you.

Links to Other Sites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Crypto Careers (including, but not limited to links to Employers’ websites). By choosing to use such third-party websites, you enter into an agreement with such third-parties at your own risk. When entering into an agreement with such parties, you are giving them your data directly and your rights and their obligations are determined by their privacy policies and terms of service.

Crypto Careers has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Crypto Careers shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Use of Crypto Careers’ Website

The Job Listings and Crypto Career’s User and CV database as well as other features of Crypto Careers’ Website may be used only by individuals seeking employment and/or career information and by Employers seeking employees. In addition, you are only permitted to use this website and its content for non-commercial purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to access (or attempt to access) Crypto Careers’ Website by any means other than through the interface that is provided by Crypto Careers, unless you have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate, written agreement with Crypto Careers. You must not use Crypto Careers’ Website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to Crypto Careers’ Website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of Crypto Careers’ Website or in any way which is unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, infringing, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

You agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, crawl, scrape, sell, rent, sub-license, trade or resell any content on Crypto Careers’ Website for any purpose, or modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of Crypto Careers’ Website.

You agree not to transmit, post, distribute, store or destroy material, including without limitation Crypto Careers’ content, in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to laws or regulations governing the collection, processing, or transfer of personal information, or in breach of Crypto Careers’  Privacy Policy;

You agree to not use Crypto Careers’ Website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit, time bombs, time locks, drop dead devices, traps, access codes, cancelbots, trap door devices or other malicious computer software.

In addition, without limiting the foregoing and by way of example only, Users may not:

  • Violate or attempt to violate the security of Crypto Careers’ Website including attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization;

  • Impersonate another person (via the use of an email address or otherwise) or otherwise misrepresent yourself.

  • Conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities on or in relation to Crypto Careers’ Website and especially profile database without Crypto Careers’ express written consent, including, but not limited to scraping, data mining, data extraction, data harvesting, 'framing' (iframes), screenscrapers or Article Spinning.

  • Put or make available in any way any sexual, pornographic, immoral, politically radical, unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, obscene or other illegal content on the Company Profiles or User Accounts.

  • Create profiles or apply to any job on behalf of third parties.

  • The user must refrain from any action that could negatively impact the Website functionality and infrastructure, particularly causing server overload.

  • Violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

  • Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on Crypto Careers’ Website.

  • Provide or encourage the provision of any false, misleading or fraudulent information on Crypto Careers’ Website.

  • Use Crypto Careers’ Website to conduct or forward pyramid schemes or similar programs.

  • Use Crypto Careers’ Website or any part of it to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.

  • Use this website for any purposes related to marketing or any way of commercial advertising without the express written consent of Crypto Careers.

Registration and Restricted Access

Access to certain areas of Crypto Careers’ Website is restricted. Crypto Careers reserves the right to restrict access to certain areas of this website, or at our discretion, this entire website. Crypto Careers may change or modify this policy without notice.

A User Account may enable you to access restricted areas on Crypto Careers’ Website or other content or services.

If you create a User Account on Crypto Careers’ Website, you will be asked to register or provide an email address. You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form (including your email address) in your User Account or company profile.

In addition, you will be asked to protect your User Account with a password. You must ensure that the password is kept confidential. You alone are responsible for your password security.

Sharing User Content or User Account password with third parties may enable such third parties to access your User Account. Crypto Careers is not responsible and disclaims all liability if your User Content is used improperly or falsely by a third party.

Crypto Careers may disable your password at our sole discretion without notice or explanation.

User Content

In these terms and conditions, (your “User Content”) means material (including without limitation resumes, Job Listings, information, text, images, audio material, video material and audio-visual material, feedback) that you submit to Crypto Careers’ Website, for whatever purpose.

Your User Content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or Crypto Careers or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). The User Content must also not contain any proprietary information, trade secrets, confidential information, advertisements, solicitations, chain letters, pyramid schemes, investment opportunities, or other unsolicited commercial communication (except as otherwise expressly permitted by us in writing), or encourage or cause spamming or flooding.

You must not submit any User Content to Crypto Careers’ Website that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.

In addition, you agree that your User Content may not contain any official identification information, such as passport or ID card number, social security number, or any other similar number, code, or identifier.

Crypto Careers reserves the right to edit or remove any material submitted to Crypto Careers’ Website, or stored on the servers of Crypto Careers, or hosted or published upon Crypto Careers’ Website.

Crypto Careers rights under these terms and conditions in relation to user content, Crypto Careers does not undertake to monitor the submission of such content to, or the publication of such content on, Crypto Careers’ Website.

You acknowledge that Crypto Careers shall have no liability or joint liability with respect to User Content and User Accounts.

License to User Content and Feedback

By submitting User Content on Crypto Careers’ Website, you grant Crypto Careers a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, sell, translate, perform, display, distribute, prepare derivative works from and otherwise exploit your User Content or the purpose of publishing material on Crypto Careers’ Website or its publisher partners, maintaining Crypto Careers’ Website and promoting Crypto Careers without restriction. You also grant Crypto Careers the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights.

You also represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, or that the holder of any rights, including moral rights in such content has completely and effectively waived all such rights and validly and irrevocably granted to you the right to grant, the license stated above.

At your discretion, you may provide feedback and related materials to Crypto Careers concerning the functionality and performance of Crypto Careers’ Website, including, without limitation, identifying potential errors, improvements, modifications, bug fixes, or enhancements (“Feedback”). You hereby grant Crypto Careers a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, sell, translate, perform, display, distribute, prepare derivative works from and otherwise exploit any Feedback for any purpose without restriction and free of any compensation.

In addition, you also grant Crypto Careers the right to disclose any or all Feedback to third parties and to sub-license any or all Feedback to third parties without restriction, without any fiduciary, confidentiality or other obligation.

Disclaimer and Warranties

Crypto Careers disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the truthfulness, accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, operability or availability of information or material displayed on or linked from the Crypto Careers’ Website (including Jobs Listings) or otherwise made available on Crypto Careers’ Website by us or third parties (including User Content, or information contained in blog posts or newsletters made available to you on Crypto Careers’ Website or via email), regardless of whether paid for or used for free.

Crypto Careers disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the deletion, failure to store, mis-delivery, or untimely delivery of any information or material (including User Content). In addition, Crypto Careers disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for any harm resulting from downloading or accessing any information or material on Crypto Careers’ Website or on other websites or services on the Internet accessed through Crypto Careers’ Website.

Crypto Careers disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for any and all technical errors or malfunctions of Crypto Careers’ Website.

You declare that you agree that Crypto Careers is not liable to you or third parties with respect to changes, interruptions or the discontinuation of individual or all services.

Nothing on this website constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind. If you require advice in relation to any legal, financial or career matter you should consult an appropriate professional.

Crypto Careers’ Website and all materials, information, Job Listings, blog posts, newsletters, User Content, products and services available on or through this website are provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, Crypto Careers does not warrant that

  • this website will be constantly available, or available at all; or

  • the information on this website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading.

Crypto Careers and its affiliates, and its and their third-party licensors, expressly disclaim to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of proprietary rights. Crypto Careers and its affiliates, and its and their third-party licensors, disclaim any warranties regarding the security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of Crypto Careers’ Website, and all materials, information, Job Listings, User Content, products and services available on or through Crypto Careers’ Website.

Crypto Careers disclaims all warranties regarding performance of Job Listings with regards to job views, applications and qualified applications or the interest-level of any Job Seekers who apply to any job listed by you on Crypto Careers’ Website or view any Job Listing you have created on Crypto Careers’ Website.

Crypto Careers and its affiliates, and its and their third-party licensors, disclaim any warranties for services or goods received through or advertised on Crypto Careers’ Website or received through any links made available by Crypto Careers.

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent possible by law, Crypto Careers will not be liable to you (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, use or misuse of, reliance on or otherwise in connection with, Crypto Careers’ Website:

  • for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; or

  • for any business losses, cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data;

  • to the extent that the website is provided free-of-charge, for any direct loss.

If the internet platform of Crypto Careers and or functionality of the platform Software is hampered, destroyed or interrupted as a result of force majeure, strike, operational disruption, lockout or structural damage emanating from outside Crypto Careers liability shall be excluded.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE BY LAW, CRYPTO CAREERS’ MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH CRYPTO CAREERS’ WEBSITE OR YOUR USE OF CRYPTO CAREERS’ CONTENT, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, BREACH OF WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE), WILL NOT EXCEED €100.

Payment

The submission as well as the alteration of a profile for Job Seekers, searching and applying for jobs is free of charge.

As an Employer, you shall be charged if, and as, indicated by Crypto Careers’ Website. All payments made to Crypto Careers are nonrefundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periodic allotments under subscription plans.

Fees charged to Employers for any paid service available on Crypto Careers’ Website are due and payable in advance and without deduction. The fees will be automatically charged to the credit card provided by you.

If you purchase a subscription plan, you acknowledge and agree that Crypto Careers will charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription plan and such cancellation goes into effect, which may not be until the next billing cycle. The applicable billing cycle (e.g. monthly or annual, etc.) will depend upon the terms agreed upon.

Invoices may be provided to you via electronic mail, unless otherwise specified by Crypto Careers.  All charges should be paid in EUR.

With the purchase of any paid service and by entering appropriate credit card and related billing and payment information to Crypto Careers, you acknowledge that such information may be shared by Crypto Careers with service providers who work on Crypto Careers’ behalf, such as payment processors and/or credit agencies, solely for the purposes of checking credit, effecting payment to Crypto Careers and servicing your account. Crypto Careers may also provide information in response to valid legal process, such as subpoenas, search warrants and court orders, or to establish or exercise its legal rights or defend against legal claims. Crypto Careers shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of such information by such third parties.

Any and all withholding tax remittances to the government are your sole responsibility and Crypto Careers shall have no liability whatsoever therefore.

Reasonableness

By using this website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this website disclaimer are reasonable.

If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.

Other parties

You accept that, as a limited liability entity, Crypto Careers has an interest in limiting the personal liability of its officers and employees. You agree that you will not bring any claim personally against Crypto Careers’ officers or employees in respect of any losses you suffer in connection with this website.

Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraph, you agree that the limitations of warranties and liability set out in this website disclaimer will protect Crypto Careers’ officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, successors, assigns and sub-contractors as well as Crypto Careers.

Unenforceable provisions

If any provision of this website disclaimer is, or is found to be, unenforceable under applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of this website disclaimer.

Indemnity

You hereby indemnify Crypto Careers and undertake to keep Crypto Careers indemnified against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses and any amounts paid by Crypto Careers to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute on the advice of Crypto Careers’ legal advisers) incurred or suffered by Crypto Careers arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these Terms of Service, or arising out of any claim that you have breached any provision of these Terms of Service.

Breaches of these terms and conditions

Without prejudice to Crypto Careers’ other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these Terms of Service in any way, Crypto Careers may take such action as Crypto Careers deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.

Variation

Crypto Careers may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will apply to the use of this website from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on this website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

Assignment

Crypto Careers may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with Crypto Careers’ rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.

You may not transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms of Service is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms of Service, together with Crypto Careers’ Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Crypto Careers in relation to your use of this website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria.
