Technical Skills:
- Act as the primary preparerfor assigned stablecoin-related accounting and reporting activities, supporting management review and approval.
- Utilize advanced Google Sheets skillsto handle large datasets efficiently and reliably.
- Resolve diverse accounting issuesby evaluating multiple solution paths and adapting quickly to evolving business requirements.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Prepare and record stablecoin customer flows, managing complex cash movements and critical issuance/redemption entries.
- Perform detailed, high-volume reconciliationsto ensure the total accuracy and completeness of stablecoin reporting.
- Generate monthly stablecoin reserve reportsfor all assigned stablecoins issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, actively supporting the critical attestation process with independent auditors.
- Verify reporting accuracyacross both existing stablecoin products and upcoming new launches.
- Conduct rigorous fluctuation analyses and variance reviews, ensuring general ledger balances strictly align with financial statements.
- Support the implementation of advanced accounting softwareto automate workflows and streamline the monthly closing process.
- Maintain regulatory and financial integrityby supporting internal controls compliance, financial reporting, external audits, and tax activities.
- Drive continuous improvementby contributing to special accounting projects and delivering ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Align with Anchorage Digital's overarching strategy, actively contributing to strategic planning and goal-setting exercises for the accounting team.
- Investigate and resolve complex variances, leveraging a deep understanding of organizational workflows to correct discrepancies found during flux analysis and account reconciliations.
Communication and Influence:
- Foster a collaborative working environmentthrough active listening, clear communication, and empathy, while consistently modeling and exemplifying our core cultural pillars.
- Document and standardize accounting processeswith the deliberate intention of creating a shared team understanding and eliminating single points of failure.
- Serve as a clear cross-functional bridgeby supporting internal and external audit processes to ensure seamless, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or Audit.
- 3+ years of professional experiencein financial management, reporting, accounting, or audit.
- Direct experienceperforming detailed, data-intensive reconciliations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience writing and editing SQL queriesto manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- High proficiency with Google Sheets(highly preferred) or Microsoft Excel for advanced data modeling.
- The ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity, easily multitasking and excelling within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
- Full professional proficiency in English(reading, writing, listening, and speaking), as English is our primary language for global company communication.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- You bring experience working at a public audit firmor have managed the full audit lifecycle from planning through reporting.
- You hold an active CPA certification(or local equivalent).
- You possess a strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including experience with SOX compliance frameworks.
- You have hands-on proficiency with NetSuiteor similar enterprise-level ERP systems.
- You have industry experiencewithin the digital assets, SaaS, or high-growth technology sectors.
- You stay actively up to datewith the rapid proliferation of blockchain and digital asset innovations.
- You were emotionally movedby the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
