Cardano Consortium Formation Manager

As Consortium Manager on the Decentralized Consortium Funding (DCF) team at IOG, you will be responsible for establishing a Consortium Membership Agreement using established frameworks and guidelines such as DESCA, facilitating consortium formation and overseeing consortium interactions before, during, and after launch. These responsibilities include working with The Cardano DCF Director to provide overall leadership of the entire consortium as well as administrative, financial, implementation, reporting, and technical oversight.

Your mission

• Engage with Consortium Partners and ensure they receive all relevant updates. Anticipate their needs for information and partner with the DCF communications manager to develop an appropriate communications plan
• Engage in Catalyst Townhall, After Townhall, and Catalyst Swarm Sessions to inform the Catalyst community of the progress of Consortium formation
• Lead the drafting and dissemination of position papers, statements, reports, and releases on the consortium's engagements around the development of Cardano
• Effectively manage partnerships between the different parties of the consortium to ensure smooth collaboration
• Ensure regular and open/transparent communication between consortium partners
• Convene and chair regular (e.g. fortnightly, quarterly) consortium steering committee meetings to discuss program and financial issues, disseminate minutes and follow up on action points
• Promote harmonization of approaches and methodologies across all consortium partners by developing and monitoring use of common tools as well as creating opportunities for experience sharing and learning
• Work closely with the Cardano DCF Director to develop and maintain a coherent consortium strategy across all partners.

Your expertise

• Experience with DESCA, Horizon2020, LERU, and/or similar consortium frameworks
• Excellent writing and language skills (Native English)
• Good technical understanding (Experience in blockchain/crypto technologies preferred).

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a Central European or Pacific Standard time zone.
