What youβll do π
- Own the external events program for MoonPay: manage all phases from selecting, planning and executing live, virtual, and hybrid events
- Organize our flagship MoonPay events, such as hackathons, conferences, community- and investor events
- Propose, plan and track the marketing events budget
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with outside vendors and agencies
- Preparing ROI evaluations of events and conferences
- Manage all logistics and admin for events, including but not limited to invitation process and follow-up, food and beverage, props,, audio visual orders, signage and display orders, speaker contracts etc.
- Assist with the creative development of event initiatives, from branding, agenda design, content creation, and venue selection to event execution
- End-to-end ownership of the event management cycle β from strategizing and planning the pre-event promotion, ensuring a smooth launch on the event day itself, on-site support and following up on the ROI and performance of the event, including attendee/feedback surveys, analytics, and lessons learned
You should apply if β
- 4+ years of event management experience
- Corporate planning experience on events with over 1,000 attendees for external stakeholders (user conferences, summits, etc)
- Experience with lifestyle events within the music, fashion, art, gaming, sports or entertainment industries
- Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, able to glean insights, develop a vision and bring it to life with actionable plans
- Must thrive in an environment of rapid change, moving targets, high intensity and cross-functional dependencies
- Fantastic ability to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlines and operate under tight deadlines
- Resourceful, autonomous and able to pivot and innovate
- Excellent communication skills
- Nice to have: organized developer-focused conferences and events / hackathons
