We’re looking for a Human Resources /Talent Manager to join our fully remote based team. You will help us grow our team and help shape the culture of Nifty's as we grow.
This role will recruit top talent, build a recruitment pipeline and support the development of various human resources programs that will fuel engagement and relationships with the Nifty’s team. This is a unique position where you will have the opportunity to make a huge impact in shaping the growth and success of the company by hiring the best talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES
- Manages the talent acquisition process, to include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Partners with HR leadership on recruitment initiatives and drives the creation and delivery of retention efforts, and monitors for success.
- Ensure a high level of candidate engagement and positive candidate experience.
- Facilitate the on-boarding process, including data entry into HRIS systems. Participate in new hire orientation; assisting with orienting new employees to the culture of the company, programs, and philosophy.
- Contributes to the development, and support of HR dashboard, monitoring of HR metrics and analysis of trends. Identifies root causes and takes proactive remedial action and partners with program leadership to implement appropriate course of action.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Performs onboarding and offboarding activities as needed
- Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, 3 years experience Human Resources Management/Leadership role
- 3 + years of recruiting experience
- Experience with applicant tracking systems required- knowledge of Greenhouse ATS plus
- Excellent active listening, influence, written/verbal communication and conflict management skills
- Thorough understanding of HR practices, including employment law and regulations
- An ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction
- Experience working at a start-up a plus
