Program Manager Supply Chain - PSG

IO Global is looking for a Program Manager to join their Professional Services Group. As Program Manager, you will manage the delivery of client engagements such as solution implementation, workshops, consulting engagements, and the development of software enhancements or bug fixes. You will have strong project and program management skills and the ability to lead cross-project and functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Equally importantly, you must demonstrate the proven ability to set, align, and manage customer expectations while delivering your projects and programs with high customer satisfaction.

As part of the Professional Services Group, you will work every day to apply blockchain technologies to solve emerging real world problems. Your mission

• Lead the planning and implementation of front office projects
• Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
• Be the escalation point of contact for the project team with IOHK clients and external stakeholders
• Work closely with the Project Managers and Account General Manager to ensure client satisfaction
• Careful expectation management of internal and external stakeholders
• Act as an advocate for both the client and IOHK
• Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
• Manage program budget
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
• Assist PS leadership with project and program resource allocation
• Assist PS leadership with scheduling project and program timelines
• Prepare program reports
• Apply change, risk, and resource management
• Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
• Coordinate closely with the IOHK PMO on best practices and alignment with best practices.

Your expertise

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or other delivery management position
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Client facing front office project management experience
• Enterprise project management
• Ability to set priorities and expectations
• Qualification in project management or equivalent
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Direct work experience in project management capacity
• Proven experience in people management
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Proven experience in risk management
• Proven experience in change management
• Proficiency in project management software (JIRA/Atlassian)
• Strong experience in delivering Software projects
• Understanding of digital ledger technology is a plus.

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a US or European timezone.
