Localization Project Manager

About the Team:

Localization team enables our products to be accessible in 20+ languages globally. We have an agile team, working closely with cross- functional stakeholders and vendors to enable international language launches and continuous localization of all user-facing surfaces.

About the Role:

As a Localization Project Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams through the product development cycle from concept to launch for all localization products. We look for localization project managers that care deeply about the products they work on and can build relationships and drive the right level of process to ensure the success of product development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Formalize the internationalization or localization process in partnership with the HQ of Localization.
• Collaborate with localization program managers to execute projects, identify risks, manage queries, and other means necessary to aim operational excellence.
• Identifies areas in the localization project workflow that could be improved and escalates as appropriate.
• Track and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts such as localization quality assurance, and bug triage.
• Coordinate and manage linguistic assets, including translation memories, terminology, and style guides.
• Evangelize globalization, internationalization and localization best practices to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, or Master’s degree, Information Project Management, Language Studies, or International Studies
• 2+ years localization project/program management experience
• Experience with localization tools such as TMS, CMS, etc
• Experience working with external localization vendors
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence and communicate through data, and experience working effectively across time zones and cultures
• Bilingual in Chinese and English
