Your Mission

As our fully remote Media Relations Manager, reporting to the Head of PR, you will be responsible for actively driving our institutional-media approach, increase communications-driven partnerships, and educating the audience on the amazing things a Tier-1 Exchange can do for them.
This is a high-impact role, where you’ll be at the forefront of implementing our Communications Framework and actively manage institutional media outlets.

You Will

• Plan strategic media relations outreach within the Blockchain/Crypto ecosystem;
• Manage and facilitate media relations outreach for special events, programs and major initiatives;
• Monitor materials development supporting our Exchange’s products, launches and promotions to conduct media relations campaigns;
• Perform as spokesperson and coordinate media inquiries and official responses;
• Write pitches, backgrounders, press releases, key messages and blog posts;
• Mange and monitor reporter hotlines, global media relations calendar, metrics, media relations processes and press release approvals;
• Propose ideas proactively for media pitches to stimulate Crypto media coverage.
• Secure strategic media placements assisting corporate reputation and business goals;
• Manage and supervise media events along with initiatives defining company story, profile, and outlook;
• Develop and maintain close media relations across other divisions to improve press efforts;
• Support framing and development of main message points for better position prior to media interviews and releases;
• Prepare statements, talk points and varied communications materials;
• Identify promotion opportunities and improve awareness of services and products;
• Perform with Senior Leadership to prepare plan for strategic communications.
• Perform as media spokesperson as supervised by leadership.
  
  You bring
  
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the FinTech/Crypto industry;
• A degree in Communication, Marketing, or Law;
• Must be a confident communicator and presenter;
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships;
• Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail;
• Possess the ability to keep information confidential;
• Tactical understanding of relevant institutional media platforms, partners, and channels;
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude;
• Self-motivation with a positive and professional approach to management;
• Excellent understanding of the Crypto/Blockchain industry and where it’s going next.
