You will be responsible for building a comprehensive reporting and research arm for the global PR function.
This is an incredible opportunity for an expert from a PR measurement and reporting background to come in house and take the lead for providing valuable insights for the performance around PR campaigns as well as driving ideas for research and analysis which will give credence to and shape our messaging as we strive to meet our goal to become the leading crypto platform in the market.
In this role you'll be expected to have deep knowledge and understanding of the newest methodology to measure and report the effectiveness of PR - you may currently be in-house at a PR data reporting provider and be looking for your next move or you may be doing a similar role in house or at an agency and looking for your next move.
You will be part of Roopa’s team, meet her here.

- Source and onboard the right tools to ensure we have a clear picture after every campaign on messaging cut-through and increases in awareness
- Building and executing the plan and methodology which will shape decision making on how and what we communicate and provide expert commentary and analysis through every step
- Take our PR research function to the next level- we currently run an annual piece of research supplemented by smaller in market pieces and we would like the PR Data and Analytics manager to lead this effort
- Proactively identify the right third party research providers both globally and locally, develop ideas for themes and questions sets, and lead the implementation, planning and analysis stages
- Building a set of regional KPIs and reporting for any of the bespoke research we run
- Work with our agency partners where relevant to ensure alignment across our measurement metrics and our research
- Partner with our broader content and marketing teams to identify and promote our positioning on key industry topics and news
In your first six months, you will
- Bring onboard the tools to be successful and build a robust measurement PR framework at a global and local level
- Source research third parties and build a plan for our annual research project
- Support 2 large scale campaigns and run point on being the go-to person for steering the ship in terms of what is working and what isn’t as we go through
- Analyse and localise content, research and data which is produced and start to build a framework for commentary.
Behavioural Attributes:
- Leads Change: Takes control and exercises leadership. Initiates action, gives direction and takes responsibility to ensure delivery of objectives/goals/tasks/projects.
- Creative Thinking: Open to new ideas and experiences. Seeks out learning opportunities. Handles situations and problems with innovation and creativity. Thinks broadly and strategically. Supports and drives organisational change.
- Plans and Organises: Plans ahead and works in a systematic and organised way. Follows directions and procedures. Delivers within the agreed time frames.

The ideal Lunaut for this role, will have
- Strong PR experience either in-house or at an agency. Technology or fintech experience is a big plus, but not a must
- A knowledge of the crypto regulatory environment would be a big advantage
- Good regional media relationships in the financial services or fintech space and the media placements to prove it
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex topics and technologies and economic trends
- Desire to build an understanding of the different countries: Open to travel across the region (when permitting) to build relationships and get the lay of the land and anything which will make us stand out
- Used to driving comms yourself and getting your hands dirty - this means writing, pitching, calling and meeting journalists on a regular basis rather than always deferring to the agency.
- A desire to do the research before campaign launches - including competitor landscape and positioning
Luno is a ‘remote but reachable’ company! At Luno, we trust that people can do their work effectively anywhere and provide Lunauts with the flexibility to decide where they do their best work. For some of us, that’s at home for the majority of the time, for others, that might mean joining other Lunauts in person at one of our Luno workspaces more often. Luno is built on our relationships, so we still value in-person connection and have a minimum expectation of spending time in person once a quarter. So as long as you are based in one country with a Luno workspace, we want to hear from you!
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not negatively discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
