Market Research Lead

In this role, you will lead the market-research efforts and opportunity-mapping across our Substrate/Polkadot efforts. Focusing on key-industries and themes, you will be responsible across industry experts and working closely with the partnership/sales as well as the product teams to define and drive the go-to-market strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in market-research and/or blockchain industry as well as experience working with go-to-market strategies for software platforms. Though a technology background is not required, the ideal candidate will have a strong technical affinity and the ability to both understand and communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively.

We will consider more senior applicants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage work-streams across the themes and collectively own the process, outcomes
• Coordinate across network of subject matter experts, advisors to document, map and define the opportunity areas across Polkadot/Substrate ecosystem
• Collaborate across ecosystem and partnership colleagues to formulate and drive go-to-market strategies

Requirements:

• Experience in building software-platform go-to-market strategies in heavily regulated industries
• Strong passion for and understanding of blockchain ecosystems
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience managing key relationships with important external stakeholders
• Strong tech affinity and ability to speak confidently and accurately about blockchain technology to senior executives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice-to-have:

• Experience and passion for the blockchain, DLT industry
• Experience structuring complex commercial public-private partnerships
