We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with the Head of Project Management Office operations and senior stakeholders from departments across the business, to set up and execute the delivery of PMO standards.

This role is ideal for someone with five or more years of project management experience who wants to develop their skills and experience. It is a great opportunity to support and influence the direction of the PMO standards at IOG as we expand to take on more commercial projects for customers.

You will help set up and implement PMO/Project standards, processes and practices according to the project life cycle. You will thrive in an environment where you are the glue that brings a project team together. You will help set the standards for managing projects within IOG and work closely with HR to develop training processes for project managers. You will document and align IOG standards for project management.

Your mission

  • Set up and implement IOG PMO/Project standards for project management
  • Support the development of the PMO function, specifically Enterprise Reporting Systems and Jira
  • Report on project status across the company
  • Provide management and teams with a consistent and comprehensive view of project status
  • Work with relevant parties to set standards for training project managers within IOG.

Your expertise

  • Five or more years of experience working in a variety of software development projects with full SDLC
  • Solid understanding of software project delivery and project delivery methodologies
  • The ability to understand the following roles: Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst
  • The ability to support core PMO functions for an organization; ie, PMO Standards, delivery dashboards, high-level plans (milestones), risks and issues, dependencies, change control, decision logging, resource and project progress status
  • Project management tools such as PMP, PRINCE2 are desirable
  • Expert in Jira and Confluence, Scrum, Kanban
  • Qualified Senior Agile coach to provide training to PM’s and project leaders is desirable
  • Experience in technology, engineering, or business.

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a UK/ Ireland timezone.
