Gauntlet’s mission is to drive adoption and understanding of the financial systems of the future. Gauntlet is the platform for off-chain intelligence that drives on-chain efficiency in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). We work with protocols to manage risk, improve capital efficiency, and manage incentive spend. We also publish cutting-edge research and aim to take a leading role in defining market risk standards across the industry.

Gauntlet is building infrastructure that allows us to simulate and stress-test blockchain protocols, contracts, and network interactions at scale over a wide range of market conditions. Our models ingest a wide range of on-chain and off-chain data, and are continuously calibrated to the current crypto market structure so that our recommendations are always up-to-date. These models and infrastructure power our platform that currently manages risk and optimizes incentives for over $40B in assets.

As Gauntlet’s product designer, you’ll design, prototype, and specify digital solutions that solve some of the biggest, most complicated problems facing DeFi protocols today. You’ll work with product managers to define problems worth solving, you’ll talk to users to understand their needs and experiences, and you’ll collaborate with Gauntlet’s engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality digital experiences. Gauntlet gathers a wealth of data about the protocols it works with across its all of DeFi. You’ll be passionate about unlocking the value of this data for our DAO’s, Community members, and Protocol team.

A sample of products and features you will work on:

* Our Risk Dashboards (gov.gauntlet.network)
* Marketing and sales collateral to help sell our services
* Our website
* Driving our brand, logo, design system throughout all of Gauntlet
* New project work we are just kicking off

As part of the product team, you’ll work with our PMs (there are only 2 of us right now) and engineers to ship digital products that improve the work lives of millions of truck drivers and managers. You will also work with Growth and leadership and have the opportunity to own our brand and drive it forward.
