Recruiter

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Recruiter to join our team! You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of Shakepay by helping us grow the team across Canada.

You will:
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment; starting from partnering with our hiring managers to identify the resources needed & the right talent qualifications to accomplish our business objectives
  • Develop & implement various recruitment strategies to attract top talent and promote our open positions via different social & professional platforms
  • Create strong job descriptions and outreach messages to attract top talent
  • Filter & screen our ATS and ensure it stays updated; including hiring statuses, interviews feedback & notes
  • Manage scheduling interviews throughout the hiring process with appointed managers & Shakers
  • Manage offer negotiations, references & background checks, & orientation & onboarding process
  • Stay informed with talent market updates & share insights with hiring managers, such as salary ranges, new recruitment tools & resources
  • Help build & promote Shakepay employer brand in recruitment events, conferences, & meet-ups

    • Must have:
  • 2+ years’ experience in an fast-paced recruitment role with a proven track record in owning the full-cycle recruiting process and hiring top talent
  • Thrive to provide positive candidate experience through fast response, follow ups, and constructive feedback whether they were hired or not
  • Passion to work, network, & connect with people and build genuine professional relationships
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Familiar and comfortable using an Applicant Tracking System
  • Basic prior knowledge or some familiarity with Bitcoin

    • Nice to have:
  • University degree or certificate in Human Resources or relevant experience
  • Previous experience with Lever
