This is the perfect role for someone who has spent some time honing their institutional sales and trading skills within a traditional finance firm and is ready to take those skills into a new asset class. This person will be responsible for managing their own independent pipeline of prospective clients while collaborating with the team to cover existing clients. In addition, this person must be a strategic thinker who can help product managers effectively prioritize critical client feedback to influence the development of new product features and innovations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead meetings with prospective clients
  • Guide clients through the institutional onboarding process
  • Work with clients directly on OTC transactions, with the help of the OTC trading team
  • Manage the DDQ / RFP process with large institutional clients
  • Collaborate with the trading team to develop market commentary for institutional client consumption

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably in an institutional sales or trading role for a traditional investment bank, asset manager, brokerage firm, or crypto native platform
  • Demonstrate a track record of interest in crypto
  • Approach every project with a beginner’s mind, ready to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to execute quickly and decisively in ambiguous situations
