About You
You love data and you are energized by data. You might think that data is the only thing we can rely on and getting the data right and be data-driven when solving a problem is of the uttermost importance. You care about data end-to-end, from its collection to the final presentation. You can reason about the entire pipeline deeply and when there are data problems you can dive in quickly to locate the root cause. You understand advanced statistic concepts and can intuitively apply them in daily analytics. You have your own way of detecting and fixing data quality issues using automation. You might be versed in data pipeline engineering and/or deep neural networks.

As a senior data scientist, you are also experienced in mentoring junior scientists. You know how a sizable data science team is organized and can recommend processes to improve the team's effectiveness now and in the future. For example, you can recommend processes to manage data sets, access control, and data quality. When it requires a specific field of expertise, you can also provide hiring recommendations. In short, as a senior data scientist, you can help build the team.

You’re a self-starter. You believe in tackling the most important problems, even if they are the most difficult problems. You’re comfortable with the unknown and understand that startup life means that you’re going to be wearing multiple hats. And that’s what motivates you. You’re accountable and obsessed with improvement, both in yourself and in others. You’re up to the challenge of building a world-class company that aims to be the infrastructure for more secure software for all.
