The Reserve team believes having access to stable money is a human right. Hundreds of millions around the world don't have it. They struggle with inflationary currencies that prevent them from building basic economic security. Financial stability is out of reach for their families and communities.

The Reserve app & currency changes that. Tens of thousands have already switched to Reserve as their family's primary banking app.

But we're not a bank. Reserve is a new way money is stored & moved. This translates to new savings & spending experiences that requires first of their kind user experience & technical innovation.

We need your leadership and talents for Reserve to reach its first million and beyond.

As a Senior Product Designer at Reserve, you will:

• Define our User Experience Strategy.
• Does Reserve focus on Savings? Payments?...network effect of money or building a killer single use?
  • Take a leading role in setting the vision of consumer finance.
  • Collaborate on the product roadmap based on insights that drive value for customers and the project.
• Lead Market & Product Research
• Reserve is in its infancy. We're discovering insights that are shaping its adoption strategy each quarter.
  
  • Be able to untangle diverse stakeholder inputs into well-defined opportunities. Champion them across the team and org.
  • Identify gaps in the team's knowledge of our customers and unique crypto banking tech. Lead research efforts to fill them.
• Deliver Exceptional Interaction & UI Design
• Trust is a deep consideration in customers adopting Reserve as their primary money account. We must look & act like the banking of tomorrow.
  
  • Lead component-driven design systems between the engineering & design teams.
  • Build intuitive experiences that overcome the complexities of using money in a new way, all while leaving our customers anxiety-free & delighted.
  • Create world-class banking interfaces & experiences to be used by millions.
  • Have a keen eye for visual artistry and deliver that which will set us apart.
• Be an Influential Communicator
• Reserve is innovating new ways to use money for the masses. This requires educating through experiences & dialogue.
  
  • Externally, know how to communicate with customers throughout their journey through visual & written experiences.
  • Internally, have a strong voice & earn influence by leading your craft.
• Continually Upgrade the Product & Design Org
• Reserve's product org is just taking shape and it's a unique time to participate in it's principles & culture.
  
  • Create design processes that increase our speed & accuracy of delivery.
  • Know when to revisit them as the organization grows and challenges shift.
  • Be a collaborator, mentor, and awesome teammate.

We're looking for you if...

• 5+ years experience designing and shipping mobile applications
• A track record for building admired consumer products.
• Are as influential as a product strategist as you are delivering experiences. We're excited for you to lead us on the why, not just the how.
• You believe research, problem definition & usability testing are key to landing on the right experience. You know how to lead teams through these.

What can set you apart

• Proficiency in Spanish. LatAm cultural knowledge.
• Having been the early designer in startups who have gone on to be large successes.
• Prior experience early in a product design org and contributed to its growth.
• Experience in FinTech, social or innovative consumer startups.
• Proficiency in Figma, otherwise be ready to learn :)
