Our Analytics team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our small but growing data & analytics team. Data & Analytics is changing the way Paxos operates as a data-driven organization. We’ve just built a new data stack from the ground up and are bringing more insights and intelligence to every decision made at the company.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll get to:

  • Empower cross-functional partners and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by delivering high quality analyses, dashboards, reporting & actionable insights
  • Design, build and maintain self-service dashboards - working directly with end-users to ensure our partners and stakeholders have access to the data they need
  • Design key metrics to track and understand our products’ and functions’ performance
  • Be a mentor and role model for more junior analysts on the team, both technically and professionally
  • Build an understanding of our products, customers and the markets we operate in and proactively combine this with your data expertise to make actionable recommendations to the business
  • Conduct one-off analyses and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Document & build processes to share knowledge - from table and column definitions to workflow schedules to codebases
  • Seek to scale everything 10x: from automation to writing reusable code
  • Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!

Your experience should include:

  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a data analyst or similar
  • 3+ years of experience writing SQL
  • Demonstrated data visualization skills and experience with BI tools (Looker / Tableau)
  • Ability to simplify complex data and present findings to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent program management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a tech-driven environment with the ability to coordinate across several stakeholder groups

You might also have:

  • Demonstrated experience with any of the following: Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Python/R/Julia
  • Experience working with any of: Finance & Accounting, Compliance & Risk, Customer Success & Sales, Financial Markets
  • Experience rolling out new functionality to end users in an analytics platform (e.g. new dashboarding solution, data models or other analytical/data/reporting tooling)
