IO Global is seeking a highly motivated and metric-driven individual to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the HR team, facilitate change, and ultimately improve the employee lifecycle experience.

This is a generalist role with emphasis on strengthening process and data metrics efficiencies across the HR function, supported by the HR team. You should be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating and managing action plans.

Your mission

  • Document, implement and work to improve upon processes, procedures, and programs relating to the team member lifecycle - conducting regular reviews around optimization and scalability of the HR department
  • Proactively streamline HR processes and systems to improve ways of working
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day management of the HR Service Desk and inbox
  • Working closely with the Finance team, manage the payroll input process for UK, Irish, USA, and Global payrolls
  • Be accountable for HRIS data including team member records and information changes such as promotions, offboarding and transfers, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all people data both in the HRIS and ancillary systems
  • Take full ownership of team member documentation including contracts, amendments, and all other items pertinent to the team member lifecycle
  • Provide first-line support and advice to line managers on IOG's practices, day-to-day queries, and HR systems and processes
  • Support the HR Business Partner team by administering surveys, conducting exit interviews, and providing useful data to guide decision-making
  • Collect, analyze and report on key HR metrics and provide metrics and dashboards for the HR Team and wider business
  • Design, establish and drive processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the employee lifecycle and HR Team
  • Drive operational optimization and excellence across the HR team and ensure we work efficiently together within and across departments in a streamlined way
  • Provide leadership and coaching to our People Operations Specialists.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree with related interests such as Human Resources (HR), Industrial Psychology or Business Management or five years of experience in a generalist role ideally within a growth-stage tech company with exposure to either an all-remote or hybrid environment (minimum)
  • Understanding of the entire team member lifecycle, with the ability to recommend process-oriented and/or operational solutions to improve the team member experience
  • Strong organizational, project management and execution skills.

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a USA time zone.
