Token Metrics is searching for a Blockchain Research Analyst to help the research and venture teams with the technical due diligence of blockchain projects, including assessing code quality, performing reviews of smart contract documentation, bug bounty programs, system design, and audit reports.
In this role, you will help the investment and research team identify risk by synthesizing key trends/issues from various technical documentation.
Assist the investment and research teams in identifying risk by synthesizing key trends/issues from public and private repositories.
In addition, you will conduct detailed due diligence on the developers working on the early-stage projects. You will also analyze and synthesize audit reports of the smart contract.

A top-notch Blockchain Research Analyst will possess basic familiarity with the most common smart contracts vulnerabilities (reentrancy, front-running, arithmetic issues).

Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in smart contract development
  • Prior experience building decentralized applications and contributing to open source crypto projects
  • Professional experience with Golang, TypeScript, Solidity, Rust, Docker, Postgres, Python
  • Understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
  • Fluency in Solidity development and deployment of smart contracts
  • Basic familiarity with the most common smart contracts vulnerabilities (reentrancy, front-running, arithmetic issues)
  • Major in computer science, software engineering, cryptography, or related technical field

    • Responsibilities
  • Technical due diligence of blockchain projects, including assessing code quality. Performing reviews of smart contract documentation, bug bounty programs, and system design.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence on the developers working on the early-stage project.
  • Analyze and synthesize audit reports of the smart contract.
  • Help investment team identify risk by synthesizing key trends/issues from a variety of technical data sources.
