FT YouTube Host for Cybersecurity Company Channel

Halborn, an elite blockchain cybersecurity firm, is looking for a highly outgoing and charismatic host for their YouTube channel. We’re looking for someone to execute and take ownership of our YouTube content creation, posting, and growth strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in cybersecurity (ideally, in blockchain security) and a real passion for all things blockchain and crypto. This is a 100% remote position. Please note that the format and themes of our videos are not set in stone. We’re open to building content around your background and personality.

Requirements:

• Native command of English (this is a MUST)
• Degree(s) or certificate(s) in cybersecurity
• Extensive knowledge of crypto and the broader blockchain tech ecosystem
• Outstanding oral communication skills with ease on camera
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A knack for explaining things to others (prior experience as a host, educator, public speaker, or other on-camera personality is a huge bonus)
• Must have access to a home or studio set up to record professional looking and sounding videos (we can assist with any electronics or studio rental reimbursements)
• The ideal candidate can also assist with video editing, YouTube graphics (eg. intro/outros, music, transitions, thumbnail creation) and has prior experience with YouTube optimization and growth strategy

Overview of position:

• Develop a video content calendar with expert interviews, team profiles, cybersecurity, blockchain security tutorials, news, and analysis about crypto hacks, etc.
• Write, film, and host a minimum of one weekly video on Halborn’s YouTube channel
• Work with the Marketing and Engineering team to come up with ideas on how to advance Halborn’s objectives through video content
• Represent Halborn digitally and in-person at industry events and, occasionally, in media interviews
