We are looking for a Compliance Associate to join our rapidly growing FinTech company. The Compliance Associate will be a results-oriented compliance professional who can drive compliance initiatives with regards to our regulatory obligations, demonstrate the sharpness needed to protect our company from financial crimes, and be able to thrive in a high growth tech startup environment.

As a Compliance Associate, you'll get to:

  • You will execute all objectives of the entire Compliance program, including transaction monitoring and investigations, client onboarding and customer due diligence, SAR writing, sanctions screening, vendor management, training, etc.
  • You will effectively coordinate with business and operational teams through the client onboarding approval process to provide an optimal customer experience while maintaining our regulatory obligations with regards to customer identification.
  • You will actively partner with global functional teams to execute shared compliance-specific projects and responsibilities.
  • Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!

Your experience should include:

  • 1-4 years of compliance experience under your belt
  • A fundamental understanding of anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.
  • Experience with one or multiple Compliance functions, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, client onboarding, KYC, SAR writing, etc.
  • Strong writing capabilities where deliverables are to be reviewed by regulators, auditors and law enforcement.

You might also have:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and tech-oriented environment within a global team setting.
  • Embody our culture and values.
  • Experience with Excel and data analytic tools is highly preferable.
