Overview of Role

Our Head of Talent will report to our Global Head of People and work cross-functionally with other executives, department heads, and hiring managers. You will be responsible for leading the recruiting team and the business function at large, inclusive of recruiting vision, strategy, processes, team structure, tools, etc.

Specifics of Role

• Revise, build-out and implement Okcoin’s comprehensive Recruiting vision and strategy
• Build a dynamic Employer Brand that is competitively intelligent, insync with what candidates value, and scalable
• Deeply understand the pandemic-influenced business environment and candidate market, enabling practical application to Recruiting strategy and execution
• Work with Global Head of People and your team to define, measure, and report key recruitment metrics
• Define and standardize all Recruiting processes
• Build a world-class Recruiting team to meet projected yearly Staffing Plans
• Possess a mission-drive mindset balanced with empathy

Requirements of Role

• 7+ total years of recruiting experience, primarily in-house
• 3+ yrs recent, in-house recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area
• 3+ yrs in a Head of Talent role in a technology-driven, rapidly-scaling startup
• Strong strategic orientation and ability to lead in a dynamic environment
• High level of commitment, passion and ability to achieve business vision and mission
• A “rapid results” mindset (e.g. moves fast, thinks fast, works hard, communicates directly, focused, etc)
• Experience managing a quickly growing recruiting team
• Ability to build trusted relationships with executives, hiring managers and your team
• Strong character and business ethics that are deeply evident in how you work
• Comfort acknowledging and sharing improvement opportunities across the business
• Thrives in ambiguity and can rapidly bring thoughtful solutions to complex problems
• Highly collaborative, deeply skilled, and humble

Nice-to-Haves of Role

• Crypto, blockchain or DeFi startup industry experience - *strong plus*
• Fintech startup industry experience
• Head of Talent startup experience specifically in San Francisco Bay Area
