The HR Generalist is a team player and collaborator who will build relationships with the business and support a rapidly scaling and remote company on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
What you’ll do
- Act as the first point of contact for all day to day queries, providing advice, guidance and training on people policies
- Support Managers in all matters relating to HR including guidance regarding terms and conditions, absence, performance matters, flexible working etc
- Lead the HR Administration function
- Accountable for data integrity, accurately maintaining data in HRIS, updating HR records and employee files to ensure accurate records are kept at all times and that filing is in order
- Recommend process improvements or changes that will improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of HR operations
- Assist with the performance management processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, actively identify gaps through self-auditing and related processes, and propose and implement changes as necessary
- Support and advocate for corporate diversity, equity & inclusion programs to ensure a highly inclusive and diverse workforce
Who we need
- You will have experience in a HR Generalist or a HR Business Partner role
- Knowledgeable in EEO, state and Federal employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems like BambooHR or Trinet
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment
- You have a passion for being organized and want to help create new processes
- A demonstrated track record of proactively engaging leaders and employees at all levels with a strong degree of professional maturity and the ability to influence outcomes is essential
- You are highly detail-oriented and have amazing time management skills
- You will have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet/exceed goals
- You’re a team player and understand the importance of working collaboratively
- A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Haves
- Experience managing a team
- International HR experience
- Experience in a startup environment
- Previous experience recruiting for a SaaS (software-as-a-service) company
