IO Global is searching for a talented Partner Manager to join their Commercial Team. The Commercial Team develops strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities for IO’s infrastructure, product, and service divisions. The team plays a crucial role in strategic initiatives, including but not limited to country entry, client proof of concepts, client implementations for governments and enterprises, company strategy, product commercialization, and key strategic partnerships.
We are looking for a leader with proven experience in managing complex relationships and nurturing them to success. In this partner-facing role, you will work closely at all organizational levels, both internally and with partners, supporting them in the product creation process and developing deep relationships that drive outcomes for both IO and its partners. In this position, you will be working as dedicated support for the Mamba Team and its products. Mamba enables a family of sidechains that will make the Cardano network more accessible to both end-users and developers.
You will own conceiving, developing, and executing big ideas and innovative partner strategies. This diverse set of responsibilities requires a deep understanding of the partner’s business, capabilities, and goals, and the ability to paint a clear and compelling vision for how we will work collaboratively to drive results. Finally, you are also expected to own the implementation, measurement, and optimization of these efforts, so passion and operational excellence are musts.
Your mission
- Understand how to develop deep relationships, nurture them to success, drive revenue growth and user acquisition
- Manage and drive the internal approval process for new strategic partners to be onboarded
- Monitor the competitive and changing landscape to help inform strategic planning
- Work with partners to drive new products, ideas, and execution
- Research, setup, and manage relationships with diverse groups
- Weigh in on resourcing, and the feasibility/capacity for involvement and participation
- Capitalize on and strengthen existing partnerships
- Determine the framework and criteria by which you prioritize your partnerships
- Procure and analyze partner data and how they overlap with our target market to define the number of partners we can realistically invest in
- Understand and create value streams to bring qualifying lead generation and closing stages to the commercial organization
- Assist in onboarding companies into Input Output’s partner program for solution integrators and various product domains
- Start providing service internally in small ways with the information that has already been captured
- Support/work with the grants office
- Work with product teams on creation of the WAR MAP
- Promote the WAR MAP concept and follow up on staff requests for assistance.
Your expertise
- 5+ years experience in the software industry
- 3+ years experience in a commercial or services role
- Experience in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, and/or DeFi industries
- Minimum BSc in computer science, business, or related field.
Location
IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a GMT -3 to GMT +4 time zone for this role.
