Overview of the role

Join as our first in-house talent partner. You'll help us to build a highly technical team that you're proud to be a part of.

To start, you'll grow the team from 30 to 45-50. The roles range from the deeply technical (e.g. lead blockchain engineer) to operational (e.g. in house counsel).

You'll report to our Talent Lead. As Argent grows, there will be scope for an outstanding candidate to quickly gain responsibility over time, both in terms of managing others and having a broader remit across the talent lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Sourcing: Proactively and efficiently build a pipeline of top tier talent, spotting hidden gems and tracking candidates for future opportunities too.
  • Interviews: You'll be candidates first point of contact with Argent, screening them and selecting who should proceed to later stages.
  • Candidate experience & closing: Ensure candidates have a great experience. Successfully sell Argent to the most sought after ones. And understand what offer packages are appropriate for Argent's stage and ambition.

  • 1+ years recruiting experience at highly technical companies. Startup experience desirable.
  • Ability to source and close top tier talent.
  • Strong sourcing from channels outside of LinkedIn (e.g. GitHub, Discord).
  • Excellent written English.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Work remotely - anywhere in Europe (but Europe only). No commute. Lots of flexibility. Plenty of time to care for your kids or cats.
  • Equity in a high growth startup backed by the investors of Spotify and Slack.
