Compliance Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bistox is a pioneering cryptocurrency exchange that combines the power of blockchain technology, FinTech advancements and leading-edge trading tools. We are expanding our Compliance team and seek to hire an experienced compliance officer who will be responsible for managing the regulatory and AML/CTF risks of the company.

What you will do in this role:

● Develop and maintain a positive and constructive relationship with the Regulators

● Ensure the effective implementation of the firm’s compliance policies and procedures

● Perform monitoring and surveillance reviews in line with the compliance monitoring plan

● Provide support and guidance to other team members concerning the regulatory, policy and procedural issues and application

● Provide the senior management with all necessary information about compliance management

● Assist with client enquiries and requests for additional information

● Identify, log and resolve compliance issues, client complaints, policy and regulatory breaches

● Assist with ad hoc projects, monitoring tasks and regulatory changes

● Review and update policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes

● Provide compliance training to staff

● Ensure timely completion and filing of regulatory reports with the regulator

Requirements:

● 2+ years of compliance, AML, or similar experience

● A degree in Law, Finance, Business or Economics

● Experience in managing compliance programs at a financial services business and in process and systems design

● Flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities

● Strong business acumen and the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to identify trends together with root issues and recommend solutions that support the company’s business objectives

● Strong organizational and presentation skills, professional demeanor

● Fluency in English

It’s an advantage if you have:

● Command of Russian language

● Experience working with FinTech companies

● Relevant industry qualifications such as ACAMS and CISI qualifications

● Ability to work within a highly technical environment
