The growing Compliance team is looking for a Sr. Associate who wants to help us further build a scalable risk-based and frictionless KYC/CDD/EDD compliance program and ultimately bring blockchain to the masses.

The ideal candidate will help our business comply with current regulations, review KYC /EDD documentation and clear various CIP alerts. You will interact not only with the Compliance team, but with key business team members including product and engineering.

What we’ll accomplish together:

  • You will focus on customer onboarding (KYC/CDD/EDD) and manually review incoming KYC attempts that our system had flagged for human intervention.
  • Respond to customers who have raised tickets specifically about KYC failures in Zendesk.
  • Conduct Know Your Business/Partner reviews of business account, including engagement with the client.
  • Document and report investigation findings and prepare case files with required supporting documentation
  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews of accounts
  • Assist in disposition of potential sanctions/PEP alerts generated from screening tools, conducting additional due diligence as needed
  • Complete adhoc project as necessary

    • A little about you:

  • You are okay to work weekends and have joy in having days off during the week.
  • You know how to use Zendesk and optimize queues
  • You have previous KYC experience
  • You pay great attention to detail, teamwork, people and analytical skills
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment and the the ability to adapt to immediate changes
  • ACAMS, CKYCA or other industry certification a plus
  • US Sanctions experience is a plus and will provide additional role progression.
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency is a plus.
