We are searching for an experienced Talent Leader to join our world class team of talent professionals. You will be contributing to and managing a team to ensure high performance across our Ecosystem and Shared Services functions (40% leadership and 60% individual delivery).
Our ideal candidate will be an acknowledged expert in the field of Talent Acquisition, have wide experience across sourcing methods and a clear understanding of where they are best used. You will have broad TA experience predominately across Ecosystem (Community / Communications) and Shared Services (People/Talent/Commercial, Corporate Strategy) roles. You will have experience of leading a team (3+ individuals) and be a strong mentor and sharer of knowledge.
Your duties will include (but not limited to) the following;
Strategic Planning
- Sets clear structure and guidelines for direct reports on delivery expectations
- Manages work load and assigns roles according to team capability & experience
- Provides accurate metrics and progress reports weekly on all live roles, to the Head of Talent
- Researches, identifies and plans new candidate sourcing opportunities, providing clear feedback effectiveness and reports on ROI
- Develops strong partnerships internally and externally to broaden the talent acquisition reach and candidate pools.
- Provides training and guidance to the team
- Supports the Head of Talent to drive data driven decisions around resourcing for your business area
Quality of Delivery
- Consistently delivers top class candidates to a diverse range of teams across IO
- Plays a pivotal role in the talent teams strategic growth and reputation within IO
- Facilitates critique, navigates hard conversations and ensures every voice is heard
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Applies their expertise and vast experience to facilitate effective communication within and across the teams.
- Primarily acts as a multiplier by building systems, authoring tools, or introducing policies or patterns that raise the level of productivity of the team
- Empathic listener and persuasive speaker. Works efficiently under pressure.
- Runs complex and/or large scale feedback sessions with difficult internal clients
- Sets clear guidelines and objectives for the individuals under their guidance.
- Identifies team objectives and KPIs to attain and ensure their good execution.
- Be a single point of contact for coordination and decision making and coordinate team activities and priorities.
- Report directly to a Head of Talent Acquisition
- Manage 3 or more Talent Professionals and actively work to improve their performance and efficiency.
- Mentor Talent Professionals and set clear individual ambitious objectives for each individual.
- Support the Talent Professionals in their respective career developments and coach them actively.
- Oversee the hiring process for the team, identify hiring needs and priorities.
- Onboard new Talent Professionals
- Conduct Performance reviews
Location
IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a North America/LATAM time zone.
