About the Role

This is a fully remote role, we will consider applicants based in North America

Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience.

We are now hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our diverse and forward‐thinking global company. This skilled and experienced Compensation professional will add value to Kraken by ensuring that our programs align with our Total Reward philosophy, are market competitive, and ensure that the Krakenite Experience is world class from their first days as a Krakenite all the way through their entire Kraken lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, analysis, design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation packages on a global scale, taking into consideration the overall business strategy and internal philosophies.
  • Assist with and provide coverage for compensation processes and queries, HRIS approvals, and research and creation of compensation packages for new hires/promotionsIdentify and execute on process improvements for compensation workflows.
  • Partners across the organisation and within HR to implement new and revised plans and programs; develops training and other communication tools to ensure understanding.
  • Stay current on legal and regulatory trends and requirements in Compensation globally, analysing impact to Kraken and assist the greater HR team in proactively developing and implementing actions to mitigate the organisation’s risk and ensure compliance.
  • Manage and maintain job architecture and help to create new jobs, job families or categories in partnership with various stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in special compensation and benefits, as well as People Experience, projects as requested by management.
  • Aid in mandatory compensation reporting.
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands on experience in compensation analysis, both domestically and internationally.
  • 4 year Bachelor degree or equivalent experience plus an Associates Degree in a relevant field.
  • Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to compensation programs (FLSA, Equal Pay, etc.).
  • Must be a proactive solution oriented team player with a proven ability to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Nice to Have

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Experience in both a start-up and a large global company, ideally in Tech, Finance.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • A passion for and knowledge of cryptocurrency.
