Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a senior frontend software developer to join our core cryptocurrency wallet team. You will be working on the development of an exciting new enterprise crypto wallet that provides other businesses & institutions access to Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, DeFi, and more. We need an experienced frontend developer that can design and build the features our customers need. Demand for our services has been growing exponentially, and the needs of our enterprise customers requires us to ship new features, optimize current features, and move quickly.

The ideal candidate has several years experience building from the ground up single page react web apps, and the static marketing pages that accompany it. We're looking for someone that has an eye for design as well as technical knowledge to write high quality frontend software. As a senior member of the team you'll be given autonomy to use the libraries and frameworks you deem necessary to deliver on the features and goals for this product. We currently have a V1 implementation written in TypeScript with React and TailwindCSS. Aside from continuing to use those three things, everything else would be up to you.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design process of Bitaccess product frontends
• Develop and maintain the frontend software of Bitaccess products
• Creation of product UI mockups and wireframes
• Optimize frontend flows to improve UX and reduce friction for users
• UX design, research, and development to improve and optimize funnels for optimal user conversion
• Learn to use and set up the latest frameworks, libraries, and technologies to improve our frontend stack (ie React, Redux, etc)
• Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance
• Contribute to developing new backend endpoints and features as needed for the frontend
• Monitor and action security and privacy vulnerabilities
• Learn from, collaborate with and teach other developers

Requirements

• 4+ years frontend development experience.
• 3+ years experience creating UI/UX mockups or wireframes
• Experience working with TypeScript
• Experience with frontend libraries and frameworks (e.g. React.js, Redux).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors and frameworks (e.g. styled-components, Tailwind CSS).

Good to have

• Experience using crypto libraries (e.g. web3, trezor-connect)
• You have interests in or knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
