Strategy Analyst

IO Global is one of the world’s pre-eminent blockchain research and engineering companies which builds high-assurance blockchain infrastructure solutions for public and private sector clients. IOG is also the driving force behind Cardano and ATALA PRISM.

IO Africa has been on the ground working on the African continent since 2017, engaging with nation-states, enterprises, and high potential disruptive startups. We are currently collaborating with five nation-states aiming to implement projects that can instigate the digital transformation of the country.

Our diverse and dynamic Africa team is expanding and is searching for talented individuals who are passionate about making change happen by solving real-world problems, with real-world solutions. As a Strategy Analyst, you will take on challenges to develop transformational strategies and implement the new technologies. In this role, you will be working alongside the Strategy Associates and Manager to deliver high-quality strategy outputs.

Your mission

• Manage workstreams and own deliverables within agreed timelines
• Collaborate in a team of two or three consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of your workstream
• Analyze information, test hypotheses, and present recommendations to internal and external clients
• Work on a variety of client engagements, exploring all the areas of our business.

Your expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 year of experience in a top-performing strategy team with relevant consulting experience
• The ability to work creatively and analytically in a team-oriented, problem-solving environment
• Flexible and willing to work on different projects
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a cross-cultural environment
• Proven experience in a fast-paced environment
• Expressed interest in technology, and private sector solutions to development
• Solid grasp of content creation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Miro, etc.) and business intelligence and collaboration tools
• Experience working in Africa, preferably Nairobi
• Strong personal values including the desire to drive impact
• Also, have a strong understanding of the African tech ecosystem.

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in an EAT/SAST time zone.
