IO Global is seeking a highly motivated and metric-driven individual to join our growing People Operations team. In this role, you will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the wider People team, facilitate change, and ultimately improve the employee lifecycle experience.
This is a strong generalist role with emphasis on strengthening process and data metrics efficiencies across the People team. You should be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs and be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating and managing action plans.
Your mission
- Work closely with the Head of People Ops to ensure our HR data and systems are pristine and working seamlessly together.
- Integrate and partner with colleagues in the People team, Legal, Learning & Development, and Incentive Program Managers to implement solutions and help scale the business.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our employee handbook and policies.
- Proactively streamline HR processes and systems to improve ways of working
- Be accountable for the day-to-day management of the HR Service Desk and inbox.
- Provide first-line support and advice to all our people on IOG's practices, day-to-day queries, and HR systems and processes.
- Be accountable for HRIS data including team member records and information changes such as promotions, offboarding and transfers, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all people data both in the HRIS and ancillary systems.
- Work closely with the Finance team, manage the payroll input process for UK, Irish, USA, and Global payrolls.
- Take full ownership of team member documentation including contracts, amendments, and all other items pertinent to the team member lifecycle.
- Ensure that our leadership teams have a full understanding of operational processes and policies by providing guidance, support and training when necessary.
- Collect, analyze and report on key HR metrics and provide metrics and dashboards for the People Team and wider business.
- Develop an understanding of the business groups serviced by the People team and forge collaborative working relationships across the company.
- Drive operational optimization and excellence across the People team and ensure we work efficiently together within and across departments in a streamlined way.
Requirements
Your expertise
- Bachelor's Degree with related interests such as HR, Industrial Psychology or Business Management or five years of experience in a senior generalist role ideally within a growth-stage tech company with exposure to either an all-remote or hybrid environment (minimum)
- Experience working with Jira is strongly desired.
- Understanding of the entire team member lifecycle, with the ability to recommend process-oriented and/or operational solutions to improve the team member experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, project management and execution skills.

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a USA time zone.
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 (dependent on experience and location)
