What product marketing means at TRM:

As the internal voice for one or more of our core customer segments, TRM product marketers dig deep to understand customer problems (current and emerging) and map those needs to TRM products, informing roadmap decisions and creating positioning that conveys maximum value for our current and future customers. They are responsible for go-to-market plans for their segments — they spot the opportunity, write the plan, and equip their teammates in digital and regional marketing, comms, creative and content teams with the insights they need to help execute brilliant multi-channel campaigns. Depending on the segment, go-to-market strategies may focus on a combination of account acquisition, pipeline acceleration and/or existing account expansion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct market and customer research to gather data and insights about core TRM customer segments and relevant personas within — their interests, needs and purchasing decision drivers. Maintain a beat on developments that impact buying intent or urgency, including developments in the regulatory space, partnerships or competitive landscape.
  • Gather competitive intelligence to inform product development and positioning work; publish to Sales and other relevant stakeholders
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with priority segments; write and produce product collateral, web content and other audience-tailored assets
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Education, Customer Success and Product teams to launch significant feature releases and new products to market
  • Synthesize the above insights into clear go-to-market strategies, plans and campaign briefs, including for content and creative development, account targeting and audience development, channel planning, and sales enablement.
  • Support product adoption, training and customer loyalty / advocacy programs, including developing customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use
  • Provide insights to help guide wider brand positioning and thought leadership themes, pricing and product development

Some of the traits we value:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B product / industry / solution marketing experience. Experience in SaaS, regtech, fintech, blockchain or related industries a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills, especially the ability to distill complex technical features and concepts into clear, succinct messaging.
  • Experience conducting persona and market research, including via customer interviews and surveys.
  • An ability to think in systems and leverage a variety of tactics, content formats, channels and resources to set strategic objectives and carry out coordinated plans against them.
  • Curiosity about the sector and conscientiousness for the success of our customers
