A bit about the role:

Gods Unchained is a complex, multilayered strategic card game that allows users the ability to build strategic decks and play those against other players in a variety of game modes. We’re looking for a creative visionary to bring the next layer of cohesion to the Gods Unchained IP and help us in creating a narrative for the product, as well as audio and visual stylings that can be extended to future offerings to grow the franchise and universe.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for the overall IP & Narrative for the Gods Unchained universe, working with the Creative team to provide structure, texture, and beauty to Gods Unchained the TCG and future offers.
  • Lead the Gods Unchained Creative team to foster an environment of innovation, ownership, and data-driven decision making.
  • Work with the designers, artists, and audio to create beautiful, engaging content, strong mechanics, and gameplay that ties into the greater company ecosystem and reinforces the objectives of the game and company.
  • Work with the Gods Unchained team, Tokens team and Monetization PM to bring value to the user through the use of Immutable X and Play to Earn.
  • Create strong communication lines with all departments and teams working on the game and client and must be able to communicate upward to Studio stakeholders.
  • Incorporate live data, consumer feedback, and user testing into the game design.

    • We would love you to have:

  • Proven track record in leading a Creative team on internal IP development with expertise across visual, audio, narrative worldbuilding, and design.
  • Experience working as a Creative Director on a project with top-quality across Creative and success in the market.
  • Exceptional presentation skills. You excel at turning thoughts into digestible communications.
  • Full autonomy in leveraging their team in executing on their areas of responsibility and accountability.
  • Motivation, innovation and the ability to think outside the box and challenge conventional thinking. In the new world of Web 3, we must be free of past assumptions to create a compelling game design.

    Gods Unchained (GU) is one of the worlds first NFT online trading card games led by Chris Clay (Former Game Director of Magic: The Gathering Arena). Providing true ownership for our players through NFTs you will be able to collect, build, sell and directly trade your cards to other players.
